First things first, let’s talk about the basic rules. When it comes to the Dimension Game, there are a few important things to keep in mind. One of the key rules is that you must always stay alert. As you explore different dimensions, you never know what you might encounter. It’s important to be prepared for anything that comes your way!
Now, let’s talk about how the game works. In the Dimension Game, you’ll be traveling through various dimensions, each with its own unique challenges. Your goal is to navigate these dimensions and collect valuable artifacts along the way. These artifacts will help you unlock new dimensions and advance in the game.
But be careful! Traveling through dimensions can be a double-edged sword. While it’s exciting to explore new worlds, there are also dangers lurking in the unknown. You must use your wit and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and avoid any traps that might be waiting for you.
As you progress in the game, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet other players. These encounters can be both friendly and competitive. You can choose to join forces with other players and explore dimensions together, or you can challenge them to see who can collect the most artifacts.
Overall, the Dimension Game offers a unique and thrilling gaming experience. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and strategy, where every decision you make carries weight. So, if you’re ready to embark on a journey through endless dimensions, grab your gear and get ready to have an unforgettable time!
Remember, the Dimension Game is all about exploring, collecting, and having fun. So, jump in and enjoy the ride. Good luck!

When playing this game, my main goal is to position my spheres in the best way I can. In each round of the game, six task cards are revealed. These cards give me specific instructions on how I should place my spheres. For example, I may need to avoid putting certain spheres on top of others or make sure they don’t touch each other.
If I follow the instructions correctly, I earn points. At the end of the game, the player with the most points is the winner.
What you’ll need

- You’ll get 4 player trays to keep everything organized and in one place.
- The player trays have self-adhesive feet on the underside, so they won’t slide around.
- There are 60 spheres in total, in vibrant colors like orange, blue, green, black, and white. You’ll get 12 of each color.
- With 60 task cards, you’ll have plenty of challenges to keep you thinking.
- Collect and use 90 point tokens to keep track of your progress.
- There are also 30 bonus tokens to earn extra points.
- And to help you keep track of everything, you’ll receive 4 overview tiles.
Setting Up the Game
Let’s get started with the setup! Here’s what you need to do:
- First, each player will need a player tray. Place it in front of you.
- Next, every player should take 15 spheres. Place three spheres of each color (orange, blue, green, black, and white) in the five slots of your tray. Don’t fill the round holes just yet. If you’re playing with fewer than four players, you can leave the remaining spheres in the box.
- Now, each player will receive an overview tile. Put it beside your tray. The overview tile has a quick explanation of the task cards.
- Each player also gets point tokens worth a total of ten points. You’ll have one five-point token and five one-point tokens.
- Take the remaining point tokens and bonus tokens and sort them by value. These will go to the side as the general supply.
- Finally, shuffle the task cards and place them face down to create a stack.
Now that we’re all set up, let’s start playing!
I’ve got a fun game for you to play called Dimension! Here’s how you set it up:
1. Make sure the hourglass is in a spot where everyone can see it.
2. Now, let’s get into the game play:
– Look at the picture below to see what happens during a round of the game:
(task cards image)
1. Start by drawing the top six task cards. Put them face up in the middle of the playing area, so that everyone can see them. Each card shows how you need to place the spheres on your player tray. It’s a good idea to talk about what each card means with your opponents if you’re playing for the first time.
2. Flip the hourglass to start the timer.
That’s it! You’re ready to start playing Dimension
As the hourglass counts down, we all scramble to finish our tasks and place the spheres in the right spots on our trays. You can stack the spheres, but only one sphere can sit on top of three spheres below it. That means you can fit a maximum of 11 spheres on three levels. Take a look at the picture below to see how the game works:

Now, let’s talk about scoring. You earn one point for each sphere that you manage to place on your own tray. It’s all about getting as many spheres on your tray as possible within the time limit. So, stack ’em up and aim for a high score!
Let’s play a game! I’ll read the tasks on the cards out loud one by one. For instance, I might say, “Make the black and blue objects touch each other.” You’ll look at your tray and say “yes” if you completed the task or “no” if you didn’t. If you didn’t complete a task, you’ll have to give up some points. Each task that you didn’t finish means you have to discard two point tokens. For example, if you didn’t complete a task on one of the six cards, you’ll have to give up two one-point tokens. If you didn’t complete five tasks, you’ll need to give up ten points!
-2 Points For Each Task That Isn’t Completed

Hey, guess what? You can trade in your tokens at any time! For example, if you have five one-point tokens, you can exchange them for one five-point token. Pretty cool, right?
Oh, and here’s an exciting bonus: If you complete all of the tasks on the six task cards correctly and use all five sphere colors on your tray, you get a bonus token! These bonus tokens can really make a difference – they can determine whether you win or lose. Check out the “End of the Game” section for more details. By the way, to receive the bonus token, you need to have placed at least one sphere of each of the five colors on your tray. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
+ Bonus Token for All Five Colors
End of the Round
Just put the six task cards from this round aside. Simple as that!
Okay, here’s the deal – I need you to put those spheres back where they belong in the player trays. Once that’s done, we’ll get started on the next round. This time, we’re revealing six new task cards. We’ll do this six times in total.
Game Over!
After those six rounds, it’s time to tally up the points. You’ll earn point tokens based on how many bonus tokens you’ve collected. Check out the table below for more details.
The player with the most points is the big winner! In the event of a tie, the player with the most bonus tokens takes the crown. And if there’s still a tie, well, those lucky folks get to share the victory.
Now let’s talk about how you can turn those bonus tokens into points:

The Magic of Books
Let’s talk about books. They’re amazing, aren’t they? When I open a book, I’m transported to a whole new world. It’s like magic. You can dive into the pages and lose yourself in the story. The characters come alive right before your eyes, and the words paint a vivid picture in your mind.
But books are more than just entertainment. They have the power to teach, to inspire, and to change lives. When you read a book, you learn something new. It could be a new fact, a new perspective, or a new idea. You broaden your horizons and expand your understanding of the world.
Books also have the ability to make you feel. They can make you laugh, cry, or even scream with terror. They evoke emotions that you never thought possible. You connect with the characters on a deep level and experience their triumphs and struggles alongside them.
And let’s not forget about the knowledge that books offer. You can learn about science, history, or even how to cook a delicious meal. There’s a book for every interest and every passion. You can become an expert in any field just by diving into the pages of a book.
But the magic of books goes beyond entertainment and knowledge. They have the power to bring people together. When I recommend a book to a friend, it sparks a conversation. We share our thoughts, our favorite moments, and our interpretations of the story. It’s a way to connect and bond with others over a shared love of reading.
So, next time you pick up a book, remember the magic that lies within its pages. Let it take you on a journey, teach you something new, and connect you with others. Books are more than just words on a page – they’re a gateway to imagination, knowledge, and human connection.

Let me show you an example. Take a look at the image above to see what the bottom levels of the players look like:
- Player A put n spheres on their tray and got n points.
- Player B got 10 points for her 10 spheres.
- Player C got n points.
- Player A completed all tasks on the cards, except for the task “The combined total number of spheres in both orange and white must be four”. They got rid of two point tokens. Since they didn’t finish all the tasks on the six task cards correctly, they can’t get a bonus token.
- Player B completed all tasks on the cards, except for the task “There must be exactly this many orange spheres”. She got rid of two point tokens. Since she didn’t finish all the tasks on the six task cards correctly, she can’t get a bonus token.
I have completed all the tasks on my cards, and I don’t need to get rid of any point tokens. Because I completed all the tasks correctly and used five different colors, I get a bonus token.
Now let’s talk about some different ways to play the game:
– If you want a harder game, you can reveal eight task cards instead of just six.
– If you don’t like it when the task cards contradict each other, you can return a card to the bottom of the stack and reveal a new one instead. For example, if one card says “White and orange must touch” and another card says “White and orange must not touch,” you can replace one of those cards.
– If you want to have fewer contradicting task cards, you can choose to exclude certain cards.
- Card Type 1: The “exactly this many” cards
- Card Type 6 and 7: The “more than” cards and the “combined total” cards
Solo Game
You can also play Dimension by yourself. Play the game just like I described earlier. When you finish, add up your points and see how your score compares to your previous solo games.
