Welcome to the Cranium Conga Game!
I’m excited to share with you the rules for playing this amazing game. Get ready to have a blast while challenging your creativity, knowledge, and quick thinking!
Overview of the Game
The Cranium Conga Game is designed to bring friends and family together for a fun-filled and exciting experience. It combines elements of teamwork, trivia, creativity, and performance to keep everyone engaged and entertained.
Setting Up the Game
The game can be played with 4 or more players, divided into teams. Each team uses a game board and selects a playing piece to represent them. Take turns rolling the die to determine which team goes first.
How to Play
Once the game begins, the team that goes first picks a card and chooses a category: Creative Cat, Star Performer, Data Head, or Word Worm. Each category represents a different type of challenge.
When it’s your team’s turn, I recommend assigning different roles to each team member. For example, one person can be the clue-giver, another can be the artist, and so on. This allows everyone to contribute their unique skills to the game.
The clue-giver will read the challenge and give clues to their team so they can guess the answer. Depending on the category, challenges may involve drawing, acting, sculpting with clay, or answering trivia questions.
If your team guesses correctly, you move forward on the game board. The next team then takes their turn, and the game continues in this manner.
Winning the Game
The objective of the game is to be the first team to complete the Conga Line, by landing on the last spot on the game board. To reach the final spot, your team must successfully complete challenges from all four categories.
Remember, the challenges are designed to test your creativity, knowledge, and ability to think quickly on your feet. So, unleash your imagination and have fun!

Getting Ready

Getting Ready
First, gather all the materials you need for the game. This includes the card deck, scoring tiles, Cranium Clay, and Conga timer. Make sure you have everything set out and ready to go before you start playing.
Alright, let’s get the game rolling! Everyone grab a Conga scoring case.
Now, to decide who goes first, we’ll go with the person whose birthday is closest!
How to Play

Imagine this: you grab a card from a deck and it determines one of the four C activities you will engage in. Excitedly, you read the entire card for everyone to hear. Now, turn the card over to uncover the rules for that specific activity.

Imagine this: you have a secret. A secret answer that you want to share with your friends. It’s your turn to make them guess, so you write it down on a secret pad. But here’s the catch – don’t let anyone see it! Keep it hidden, just for now.

Let’s get the party started by closing the cover on the secret pad. This will activate the Conga timer. Pass the Conga timer to the player sitting on your left. They will be the first one to guess.

The timer is unpredictable. It may stop after only ten seconds, or it might go on for a whole minute. So make your guesses quickly before time runs out!

How to Score in the Conga Game
If you want to win in the Conga game, you need to know how to score. Understanding the scoring process is crucial to your success. Let me explain the scoring rules to you.
- If someone guesses correctly, you have to stop the Conga timer by opening the secret pad. Once the timer stops, both you and the person who guessed correctly will win a number of scoring tiles, as indicated by the scoring lights on the Conga timer. Remember, when this happens, your turn is over, and it’s the player to your left who goes next.
- But what if time runs out? Well, if it’s your turn when time runs out, you won’t score any points. And the player who was holding the timer at that moment won’t score either. However, all the other players will win one scoring tile each for playing it safe and not getting into trouble. After this, your turn is over, and it’s the player to your left who goes next.
Hint: The More Guesses, the More Tiles
Keep in mind that the more guesses there are, the more scoring tiles you can win. So, don’t be afraid to make guesses and take risks to increase your chances of winning!
When it’s my turn, I want to come up with a guess that’s not too obvious, but still easy enough for the other players to figure out in time.

All About Winning
The goal is simple: fill your Conga scoring case with tiles and claim victory!
When I reach that point, I can’t help but shout out “Conga!” It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. I quickly open my case, wanting everyone to see my accomplishment. But here’s the thing – if multiple players manage to fill their cases at the same time, well, they all win! It becomes a shared triumph, a celebration of collective success.
