Setup
- First, let’s get started by shuffling the cards. Once that’s done, we’ll randomly pick 3 cards and place them in the center of the table. These cards have special scoring conditions that apply to this game.

How to Play the Game
When you play, you start by picking a card from the circle. Then, you put the card in your boomtown.
If it’s your first card, just put it in front of you to start building your town.
Every time you get a new card, you have to place it so that it touches at least one side of a territory in your town. Or, you can put it on top of a territory that’s already there.
Important Rules for Playing the Game
When playing the game, there are some important rules that you need to keep in mind:
- You can’t tuck a card under an existing territory.
- You can’t place a card in a way that it only connects to your town by a corner.
- When placing a card, you can position it right-side-up or upside-down, but not on its side.
How to Draft a Card
If you are playing as player one, you have the option to choose the starting card or skip it and choose a different card, moving clockwise around the circle.
If you choose to skip a card, you must give that card to your opponent for free. Once you have selected your card, place it in your town and your turn is over.
