How to Win
Your goal is to be the first player to collect 6 scoring tokens.
Getting Started
Let’s begin by setting up the game. First, find the 20 “blank” cards in the card decks and set them aside for now. We won’t be using them just yet. Take the remaining cards and place them in the tray, making sure it’s in the middle of the playing area where everyone can reach.
Next, divide the scoring tokens into two groups: TRUE tokens and FUNNY tokens. Put the TRUE tokens in one of the center pockets of the storage tray, and place the FUNNY tokens in the other pocket. These tokens will come in handy for keeping score later on.
Lastly, deal 7 cards to each player, making sure they’re facedown. These will be the starting cards for each player.

To figure out who goes first, we’ll need to find the player who talks the most. Whoever that is, they’ll be the first to roll. Then the turn will go around clockwise to the next player.

Detailed Rules
- Let’s play a game! Here’s how it works: we roll a die to choose a category. The first person to start as the “reader” will be the most talkative player (we’ll decide who that is). After that, we’ll pass the role to the left. The reader will roll the die and announce the category. There are six categories to choose from: I am, I like, I want, I don’t, I have, and I (which is a catch-all category for phrases that start with ‘I’).
- First, each player (except me) will choose a card from their hand and give it to me.
- Then, everyone (except me) will choose another card and place it in front of me.
- When you select a card, choose one that is either true or funny. For example, if the category is “I have,” you can choose a card that says “I have morals” if you think it’s true or a card that you think I will find funny.
- If there are four players, each player will choose two cards instead of one. These cards can be true, funny, or a combination of both.
Note: I can’t choose the same card as the most funny one that I selected.
Note: When playing this game, you cannot choose the same card more than once as the most true. I want to emphasize this rule because it’s an important one to keep in mind.
