Scoring

Getting Ready

• Put the Card Box with the Cards on the table where everyone can easily reach it, and make sure to also have the Timer nearby.
• Decide how many rounds you want to play. If you have a big group, go for two or three rounds. For smaller groups, aim for four or five rounds.

Let’s Do This

• The person who owns the game gets to be in the Hot Seat first, and then the play moves to the right.
• The player to the left of the person in the Hot Seat draws a Card and reads out loud what it says. All Cards start with “Name 3..” and are followed by different categories. For example, a Card could say, “Name 3 Types of Fruit”.
• As soon as I read the Card, I’ll start the Timer by flipping it. You have 5 seconds to give me 3 answers. For example, you can say, “Urine, blood, tears”. If you can give me 3 answers before all of the balls reach the bottom of the timer, you get one point. Keep the Card in front of you to keep track of your points. If you’re not sure about an answer, don’t worry, we have a solution for that.
• If you can only name one or two answers before the time runs out, you won’t get any points and it will be the next player’s turn. The next player will also have 5 seconds to answer the same question, but with a twist. They cannot use any of the answers that were already given for that Card. For example, if the previous player said, “Urine and blood”, the next player cannot use those answers. They have to come up with 3 different Bodily Fluids like, “Tears, sweat, . “..

There’s this fun game I want to tell you about, called “3 in 5.” Here’s how it goes:

We all sit in a circle, and someone starts the game by drawing a card. The card has a category on it, like “types of fruit” or “colors.”

Then, the person with the card has to name three things that fit into that category… but they only have five seconds to do it!

If they can name three things in five seconds, they get a point. But if the time runs out or they can’t think of three, the point goes to the person who started the game.

Then, it’s the next person’s turn. The person to the right of the previous player becomes the new “Hot Seat” player, and they draw a new card.

The game keeps going like this, with everyone taking turns and trying to name three things in five seconds.

The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

If, after playing the decided number of rounds, two or more players are tied, an extra round called a tie-breaker should be played. Only the tied players participate in this round, and the player who scores a point becomes the winner.

Among the tied players, the one in the Hot Seat should be the oldest.

When we reach the end of the set number of rounds, it’s time to tally up our scores. Each Card that sits in front of you is worth one point. The person with the most points is the winner!
