Hey there! Let me break down all 59 locations and explain the rules that come with them.

When you’re just starting out, don’t stress about all the other locations. You only need to know the rules for the first 6 locations.

The Starting Locations #1 to #6

Location #1: I grab two fruits from the pile.

This goes for all locations: Every time you take fruit from the pile, you always add it to your hand.

If there are no more fruits in the pile and you still need more, I mix up the discarded fruits and put them face-down as the new pile. Then, I keep grabbing fruits.

Location #2: I’ll exchange 1 banana for 2 fruits. Here’s how it works: I give 1 banana from my hand to another player, and in return, they give me 2 other fruits from their hand.

If I have 1 banana, I have to give it away. If the other player only has 1 fruit in their hand, they have to give me that fruit. But they can also give me another banana if they have one!

This rule applies to all locations: I’ll often be exchanging fruits, or other things in the game, with other players. If a player has to give away a fruit, they get to choose which fruit to give.

This rule applies to all locations: When the rules mention “another player,” it means I can’t choose myself. But when it says “any player,” that includes me too!

This rule applies to every place with a signpost: If you can’t meet the requirements for those places, you have to give up the action on the card and can only choose 1 fruit from the stack. Otherwise, you have to follow the written action.

So, for location #2, if you don’t have a banana, you can only pick 1 fruit from the stack.

Location #3: Here’s what you do – pick one fruit and then trade it with three different fruits.

I start by picking one fruit from the pile. Then, I choose another player and ask them to give me three fruits from their hand. I take those fruits and return any three cards from my hand to the player.

If I want to, I can also give the other player some of the fruits they gave me. It’s up to me. But if everyone else has less than three fruits, I don’t have to trade. I only get to draw one fruit from the pile. No trading then.

I’m at Location #4 and I have a great idea!

Here’s what we’ll do: I’ll give each person 1 fruit. To do this, I’ll place the fruits from my hand face up on the table. Then, one by one, each of you can take 1 fruit into your hand. But here’s the fun part – for each fruit you take, I get to draw 2 fruits from the stack!

Now, if I happen to have 0 fruits left in my hand, don’t worry. I can still draw 1 fruit from the stack. So there’s always a chance for me to get more fruits.

Location #5: Let’s talk about going back to 3 fruits.

You can choose to get rid of some fruits from your hand. After that, you can draw new fruits from the stack until you have a total of 3 fruits.

However, if you already have 3 or more fruits in your hand and you don’t want to get rid of any of them, you don’t get to draw any new fruits.

This applies to all locations: Keep in mind that when we say “any number,” it includes the possibility of not choosing any fruits at all.

Location #6: Discover the joy of trying different fruits.

Uncover the fruits, one by one, until you have collected them all or come across a duplicate fruit. If you find two of the same fruit, you must discard all the fruits you have revealed so far.

As I reveal each fruit, I have to make a decision – should I take the fruits I have already revealed or continue to reveal another fruit?

Once I decide to take the fruits or discard them, my turn comes to an end.
