When the game is over, you will earn 1 point for each Common Construction that is present in your city. This means that the more Common Constructions you have, the higher your score will be.

The Importance of the Cemetery

When you put one of your workers on the Cemetery, you get to reveal four cards from either the draw pile or the discard pile. Out of those four cards, you can choose one to play for free. The rest of the cards are discarded. It’s important to note that the worker you place on the Cemetery stays there permanently. However, you can only have up to two workers on the Cemetery. To unlock the second spot, you need to have an Undertaker in your city.

The Importance of the Chapel

When you send a worker to work at the Chapel, you will earn 1 point token. For every point token on the Chapel, you will also draw 2 cards to add to your hand.

Tower of Time

When you play the Clock Tower, you’ll see three point tokens placed on it. As you start getting your workers ready for the next season, you must remember to take off one of the point tokens from the Clock Tower. This will allow you to activate one of the basic or Forest locations where you have a worker. And don’t forget, any points that are still on the Clock Tower by the end of the game will be added to your overall score.

Courthouse

Every time you build something in your city, I’ll give you a twig, a resin, or a pebble. That’s right, with the Construction card, you’ll be rewarded. But don’t expect any extra resources for playing this Courthouse card – it’s not that generous.

The Mighty Crane

When you’re playing a Construction, you have the option to get rid of this Crane from your city in order to reduce the cost of the Construction you’re playing by 3 of any resource. Note that you won’t actually receive the 3 resources. It’s worth mentioning that this card cannot be combined with the abilities of any other card, like the Inn or forest tiles that allow you to play a card. The same applies to cards such as the Dungeon.

Dungeon

When you play a Construction or a Critter, you can place a Critter from your city beneath this Dungeon. This lowers the cost of the card by 3 of any resource. However, you don’t actually gain those 3 resources. The Critter that goes into your Dungeon is no longer considered part of your city and doesn’t contribute any points.

You can’t combine this card with any other card-playing abilities. This includes the Inn, forest tiles that allow you to play a card, and cards like the Crane or Innkeeper. Your Dungeon can only hold up to 2 prisoners, but you can unlock the second cell by having a Ranger in your city.

Ever Tree

When the game is over, you will earn a point for every purple Prosperity card in your city, including the Ever Tree. The Ever Tree also gives you the ability to choose one Critter of any type for free.

Enjoyable Festivities

When I play a game or when it is being produced, I get to draw two cards. Isn’t that exciting? No matter what stage of the game we are in, whether we’re just starting or already in the middle of things, getting those extra cards can really give us an advantage.

Harvest Time

When you play this card and while it’s in play, you’ll get an extra berry.

Country Store

When you play the game and when it is being made, you will receive 1 berry or 2 berries if you have a Farm in your city. Note that you only get 2 berries in total, not 2 berries per Farm.

The Inn

When I put a worker in this spot, I can play a Critter or Construction card from the Meadow for 3 fewer resources of my choosing. However, I don’t actually get the 3 resources. If an opponent comes to my Inn, I get a point token. In the solo game, I can also visit the Inn in Rugwort’s City and Rugwort gets a point token.

Watchtower

So here’s the deal: when you put one of your workers on this spot, you get to make a copy of either a basic or Forest location, even if it’s already taken by another one of your workers. Pretty neat, huh?

Mine

When you play and produce, you earn a pebble.

The Abbey

Hey there! Let me tell you about a really interesting game mechanic called the Monastery. It’s a spot where you can send one of your workers in exchange for some benefits. Here’s how it works:

Firstly, when you place a worker on the Monastery, you actually have to give 2 of any resources to one of your opponents. It might sound strange, right? Why would you do that? Well, the answer is simple – you get 4 points in return! So, it’s like a little trade-off: you give something away, but you also gain something valuable.

Now, let’s talk a bit more about the Monastery. You can only have up to 2 workers on it, which is already pretty neat. But there’s a catch – the second spot is locked and can only be unlocked if you have a Monk in your city. So, you need a special character to access the second worker spot at the Monastery.

Exciting, right?

The Monastery is just one example of the amazing game mechanics you’ll find in this game. If you enjoy strategic thinking and making interesting decisions, you’ll definitely love it! So why not give it a try and see how it adds an extra layer of depth and excitement to your gameplay?

I want to talk about the scoring in this game. It can be a little confusing, but I’ll do my best to explain it to you. When the game is over, you will earn 1 point for each Unique Construction that you have in your city, including the Palace that we’re talking about.

Let’s take a look at the Post Office

When you put one of your workers in this location, you have to give an opponent two cards from your hand. After that, you can choose how many cards from your hand you want to discard. Once you’re done discarding, you can draw cards from the draw pile until you reach your hand limit.

If an opponent visits your Post Office, you get a point token. In the Solo Game, you can visit the Post Office in Rugwort’s City and Rugwort will earn a point token.

Resin Refinery

When I play and during production, I get 1 resin.

Discovering ancient ruins

Hey there! When you play this card, you’ll have to get rid of one of the buildings in your city. But don’t worry, you’ll get back the resources it cost to build that building. And as a bonus, you also get to draw 2 additional cards. How cool is that?

School

When the game is over, you will earn 1 point for each Common Critter in your city.

Storehouse: When you play this card and during the Production phase, you can take 3 twigs, 2 resin, 1 pebble, or 2 berries from the supply and place them on this card. The Storehouse also serves as a location where you can assign a worker and collect all the resources on the card.

Theater

When the game ends, you earn 1 point for each Critter that is unique in your city.

All about the Twig Barge

When I play this card and it’s in production, I’ll get 2 twigs.

College

When you put one of your workers in this location, you have to get rid of one Construction or Critter from your city. In exchange, you’ll receive the resources that are listed on the card you discarded, and you’ll also gain one of any resource and one point. But here’s the interesting part: if you discard a card that has a permanent worker on it, that worker will go to the University and stay there forever. You won’t get the worker back, but hey, at least it has a new home now!
