Hey there! Let’s talk about the 6 Player Mats in this game. They’re pretty cool because each mat represents a different type of hero. And get this – they’re double-sided, so you have two heroes to choose from on each mat. How awesome is that?

Now, each Player Mat comes with its own deck. Take a look at the picture below to see what I mean. Each deck is specific to the hero on the mat. So, you’ll have unique cards for each hero you choose to play with.

So, let’s say you want to play as the Wizard in this game. Well, in order to do that, you need to choose the blue deck. Simple enough, right?

Hero Decks

Now, let’s talk about the different types of cards you’ll find in the Hero Decks.

First, we have the Resource Cards. You can recognize these by the big symbols in the middle. These cards are your ticket to defeating the dungeon cards. All you have to do is match the symbols on the Resource Cards to the ones on the dungeon cards. Easy peasy!

If you’re ever in need of Scrolls, you can always count on these heroes who possess a vast wealth of arcane knowledge. They are known as the specialists in deciphering the secrets of magic.

One such hero is the Wizard. With their incredible powers, they are capable of stopping time itself. When you activate the Wizard’s Stop Time ability, the game timer freezes. It will continue to stay frozen until someone plays a card. The timer won’t start again just by discarding cards, using abilities, or revealing a new Dungeon Card.

Magic Bombs are pretty amazing because they give you an assortment of different symbols whenever you use them. This makes them particularly handy when you come across tough Bosses or cards that demand multiple symbols.

What’s great is that you don’t have to include all the symbols when you play a Magic Bomb. You can choose which ones to use, depending on the situation. It’s like having a versatile tool that you can tailor to your needs!

Cancel prevents Event Cards from happening. It’s a handy tool for safeguarding your team against events that would make you throw away cards, like Sudden Illness.

In fact, it’s the only card in the entire game that can defeat a Boss instantly. So, if you’re ever in a tough spot and need a quick solution, the Holy Hand Grenade is your secret weapon.

However, if you’re in a tight spot, you can use the Double Symbol Card as just one of the symbols. It’s up to you whether you want to utilize both symbols or not.

When you donate your hand to another player, your strong cards stay in play. At the same time, you get to draw a completely new set of cards right away. It’s like refreshing your options and keeping the game exciting!

Steal is a powerful ability that lets me take another player’s hand. It can come in handy when someone wants to use their ability but doesn’t want to lose any cards from their hand.
