WHAT’S YOUR SIGN

What’s Your Sign is a super fun card game that you can play with 3 or more friends. The goal of the game is to collect 5 prompt cards by coming up with the funniest or truest combination of a prompt and an ending card.

SETUP

To decide who goes first, we have a special rule. The person who last checked their horoscope gets to be the first player. If you can’t remember who checked their horoscope last, you can also just choose randomly.

We have two decks of cards – the horoscope cards (the ones that are round) and the ending cards (the ones that are rectangles). Make sure you shuffle both decks. Each player will get 7 ending cards to start with, and that will be their hand for the game.

The first player gets to be the judge for this round. They will pick a horoscope card from the deck, and that will be the prompt for this round.

GAMEPLAY

So here’s the deal: we all gather around, and the judge pulls out a card with the prompt on it. It could be something funny or something that’s just so true you can’t help but nod your head in agreement.

Now, it’s time for the fun part. We all look at our cards and try to find the one that matches the prompt just right. Once we’ve found it, we place it face down on the table with the other chosen cards.

When everyone is done, the judge collects all the cards and gives them a good shuffle. Then, one by one, they read out each card along with the prompt. It’s like a little game of surprises.

Finally, the judge gets to pick their favorite card out of the bunch. The person who played that card is the winner of the round, and they get to show off their victory by taking the horoscope card.

But don’t worry, the game isn’t over yet. We all grab more cards to refill our hands, making sure we have 7 each. Then, the turn to be the judge passes to the person on the left.
