VROOM
If you think this game is just for kids, think again! Add in a little something called alcohol, and you’ve got a whole new drinking game to play with your buddies. Vroom may seem simple, but let me tell you, it can get pretty confusing, especially after a few drinks. Trust me, I’ve been there.
HOW TO PLAY
Gather all your friends and have them sit in a circle. Pretend you’re in a car and put your hands on an imaginary steering wheel. Now, here’s where the fun begins. The first player shouts out “Vroom!” and makes a turn either to the right or the left with their pretend car. Remember, the direction they choose is important. The player sitting in that direction gets their turn next. So, if the first player turned their imaginary steering wheel to the right, the person on their right goes next. You see how it works?

When it’s your turn to play Vroom, you have two choices:
️
- If you want to keep the game going in the same direction, say “vroom” and turn your imaginary steering wheel in the same direction as the previous player. For example, if the previous player turned right, you would say “vroom” and turn your wheel to the right as well.
- If you want to change the direction of the game, say “screech” and turn your imaginary steering wheel in the opposite direction. So, if the previous player turned right, you would say “screech” and turn your wheel to the left. In this case, the next player becomes the previous player once again.

Vroom is a fast-paced game, and it may take some rounds for everyone to get the hang of it. So, it’s a good idea to play a practice round first.

GAME OVER
Whenever you make a mistake while playing, you have to take a shot before starting over. That means if it takes you too long to say “vroom” or “screech,” you still have to take a shot.
I love writing and I love encouraging people to have fun and play games. For three years, I organized a pub crawl where we played drinking games almost every day. Gaming runs in my family, so you could say it’s in my blood.
I’m also a huge fan of traveling and music, and I even have personal blogs where I write about my adventures and my favorite tunes.
