TRUTH OR DRINK

Welcome to Truth or Drink, a fun twist on the classic game for adults over 21. It’s time to make a choice. Will you spill the truth or take a sip? But be careful, because what you say or drink could have consequences!

SETUP

First, let’s choose a dealer to kick off the game. There are no rules for this – feel free to get creative. Once a dealer is selected, they will shuffle the deck of cards and place them in the middle of the playing area. Make sure everyone can reach the deck easily. Now, each player will receive three Strategy Cards. We’re all set to begin!

GAMEPLAY

Ready to dive in? The dealer will draw a card from the deck. Then, they’ll pick two players who will get to question each other. The dealer decides which question to ask first and hands the card to the first player. Now, the other player has a choice: answer honestly or take a gulp of their drink. Choose wisely!

If you choose to drink, you won’t be able to win the round. The next player will then ask the remaining question on the card. If both players agree to answer, the dealer will decide which answer they like best. The player with the best, or only, answer will win a Question Card.

Gameplay continues in a clockwise direction. Players can use their Strategy cards to avoid answering questions without losing the round. These cards can be played at any time, even if it’s not your turn. Make sure you have three Strategy Cards at the beginning of each round.

END OF GAME

The game ends when a player collects 5 Question Cards. That player is declared the winner.
