Based on the beloved game Slapjack, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza adds a twist that takes the frenzy to a whole new level. The more you play, the more challenging and thrilling it becomes. Before you know it, you’ll find yourself desperately trying to keep up!

GETTING STARTED

After we shuffle the deck, we distribute the cards evenly, face-down, to everyone playing. The number of cards each person gets depends on how many players there are. The game starts with the person to the left of the dealer.

When it’s your turn, you put a card in the middle of the table, face-up, and say “Taco”. The next person puts a card on top of yours and says “Cat”. This goes on with each player saying the next word in the name: “Goat”, “Cheese”, and “Pizza”. If you mess up and say the wrong word, you have to pick up all the cards in the pile.

If the word that is said matches the card that has been laid down, everyone needs to quickly slap their hand on top of the pile and try to be the first one to do so. The person who slaps their hand last is the one who has to take the entire pile and put it at the bottom of their own pile, facing down.

The player who picked up the pile starts the next round. This keeps going until someone has placed all of their cards down and is also the first to slap the pile when a card matches.

LUCKY CARDS

When a lucky card is played to the pile, everyone has to do whatever it says right away and then slap the top of the pile. The person who slaps the top of the pile last, or does the wrong action, has to pick up all the cards in the pile.

When I play the gorilla card, we all need to thump our chests and then smack the pile.

About Groundhog

When I play the groundhog card, we all need to knock on the table with both hands and then smack the pile.

About Narwhal

When I play the narwhal card, we all need to slap our hands above our heads and make a shape like a horn, and then smack the pile.

Game Over

The game is over when someone has played all their cards and is the first to smack the pile when a match is thrown.
