Slamwich game rules – how to play slamwich

By: Dennis B. B. Taylor

Welcome to Slamwich!

Slamwich is an exciting and fast-paced card game that anyone can play! All you need are quick hands and a sharp mind. As you play, keep an eye out for patterns and specific cards. Be the first to react correctly, and you’ll win all the cards in the middle!

This game is quick and action-filled, with plenty of lessons to learn. You’ll need to stay focused and alert at all times, or you’ll risk being left empty-handed and out of the game.

Getting Started

Before we begin, take a moment to look through the deck. Familiarize yourself with the different cards and their unique features. Next, decide who will be the dealer. Once that’s settled, the dealer will distribute the cards evenly among all players, with any extras placed in the middle. Everyone should stack their cards and keep them face-down in front of them.

Let the Game Begin!

Alright, let’s get this game started! The dealer is the one in charge, but the player on their left goes first. Remember, we’re going clockwise. Each player has their own deck of cards. When it’s your turn, you’ll flip the top card and place it face up in the middle of the group. Pay attention because it’s about to get exciting!

Here’s the fun part: you need to slap the pile when you spot something special. Keep your eyes peeled for a Double Decker. That’s when you see two cards that are exactly the same, stacked on top of each other. When that happens, go ahead and slap that pile like a pro! But wait, there’s more!

Keep your reflexes sharp because a Slamwich is another opportunity to snatch up those cards. Look for two matching cards with a different card sandwiched in between. When you see it, slap that pile with lightning speed! Remember, if you’re the first one to slap, you’re the lucky winner of the whole stack!

Oh, and watch out for the Thief card! When it appears, you must spring into action. Slam your hand onto that pile and shout “Stop Thief!” Don’t forget to make some noise, or else someone else might beat you to it and grab the pile. Stay on your toes and be quick!

When you earn a pile, you take those cards and add them face down to the bottom of your stack. Then, a new round begins and the person who won the pile starts the next round.

House Rules

Playing Muncher Cards

When you play a Muncher Card, you become the Muncher. The person to your left has to try to stop you from taking all the cards. They have to throw down as many cards as the Muncher Card says. But if they play a Double Decker, Slamwich, or a Thief card, they can stop you. Munchers can still slap the deck, though!

Slip Slaps

If you make a mistake and slap the deck when you’re not supposed to, that’s called a slip slap. You have to take your top card and put it face up in the middle pile. And as punishment, you have to give up one of your own cards.

GAME OVER

Once you run out of cards, it’s time to pack up and call it a day. The game reaches its conclusion when only one player remains. The ultimate victor is the first person to gather every single card and outlast all competitors!

Once you’ve played all your cards, it’s game over for you. The last player standing wins when there’s no one left to challenge them. If you’re the first to collect all the cards, congratulations, you’re the champion!
