GO FOR GOLD GRADUATION CHALLENGE

Hey there, recent grad! Congrats on making it through, now it’s time for you to go for gold. The Go for Gold Graduation Challenge is all about aiming high, practicing diligently, and being persistent! You’ll be using mini marshmallows and homemade blow guns to score points by putting those marshmallows into a star-shaped bowl.

Let’s Get Set Up!

First, we need to create our blowguns. Grab a note card, roll it up, and secure it with tape. Make sure a mini marshmallow can fit through the tube. Now, gather a handful of marshmallows. We’re all set!

Next, place the star-shaped bowl at least five feet away from us. We’ll start by standing, but as we improve, we can sit down. Ready to begin?

Get Ready to Play!

Our goal is to shoot marshmallows into the star-shaped bowl using only our breath and our homemade blowguns. We’ll all play at the same time, so get ready for some marshmallow madness! Just a heads up, though – not all marshmallows will make it into the bowl, so expect a bit of a mess.

When I play the game called “Marshmallow Madness,” I have control over when the game ends. If I stop shooting marshmallows, the game can come to a close. Another way the game can end is if I run out of marshmallows to throw.
