Neosho rapids game rules – how to play neosho rapids

Welcome to Neosho Rapids!

Neosho Rapids is a fun and fast-paced game that can be played by up to four people. It’s called Neosho Rapids because it was named after a river in Kansas!

Getting Started

First, let’s set up the game. The dealer will shuffle a deck of cards and give seven cards to each player. The remaining cards go in the middle to create the Stock Pile. The first card of the deck is placed face-up next to the Stock Pile to start the Discard Pile.

Now we’re ready to play!

How to Play

The player to the left of the dealer goes first. On their turn, each player must try to get rid of cards that are either one rank higher or lower than the face-up card on the Discard Pile. It’s like building a staircase with cards! Each player must play as many cards as they can from their hand during their turn.

When I don’t have any more cards that I can play, I have to draw one from the Stock Pile and my turn is over. We keep playing like this until one of us runs out of cards.

If the Stock Pile is empty, we can flip over the discard pile, shuffle it, and make it the new Stock Pile.

THE END

The game is over when someone gets rid of all their cards. That person is the winner!
