Getting ready to play this game is super easy. All you have to do is jump into the pool and pick the first person to start. And just like that, we’re ready to kick things off!

Time to Play

Alright, here’s how the game goes. We’ll all start in the center of the pool. Once we decide who’s going to be “It,” that person will close their eyes and count to ten. While they count, the rest of us will try to swim as far away as we can without leaving the pool.

Now comes the fun part. The player who is “It” will keep their eyes closed and shout out “Marco?” And the rest of us? We have to reply with a loud “Polo!” The only time we don’t have to say “Polo” is if we’re underwater when “Marco” is called. But remember, we can’t go underwater while “Marco” is being shouted.

Hey there! When I tag someone in the game of Marco Polo, they become It. We keep playing like this until we decide to stop.

The game ends whenever we feel like it. We can rank the winners based on who got tagged the fewest times. Those players are the masters of escape!
