Kryt -navalivat – learn to play with

Get Ready to Crush ‘Em!

Kryt’-navalivat’ is a super fun card game that can be played by 2 or more people. The objective of the game is to get rid of all your cards and avoid being the last one holding any. Unlike most games, there’s no winner here – only one sad loser.

Ready, Set, Go!

First things first, let’s prepare the deck. We’re going to take out all the cards numbered 5 or lower, so we end up with a deck of 36 cards.

Now, anyone can deal the cards for the first round. But from then on, whoever lost the previous round becomes the next dealer. The dealer shuffles the deck and gives the player on their left a chance to cut it. Then, each player gets dealt a hand of three cards. The dealer flips over the top card of the remaining cards – this will determine the trump suit for the round. The rest of the cards are stacked on top of it, making sure everyone can see the trump suit. It’s like putting a spotlight on it!

Card Ranking

Let’s talk about the ranking of cards in this game. The order is Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 6 – with Ace being the highest and 6 the lowest.

GAMEPLAY

Okay, let’s get started on how to play! The game begins with you, sitting to the left of the dealer. You have the power to decide which card to play first and start the play pile.

During your turn, you have two options. You can either put a card on top of the play pile or draw a card from it. It’s your call!

If you decide to play a card, there’s a rule to follow. You need to play a card that is higher than the top card of the pile. If the top card is not a trump card, any higher card of the same suit or a trump card will do the trick. But if the top card is already a trump card, you’ll need an even higher trump card to beat it. Got it?

If you successfully beat the top card, you get to play a second card! This second card will be the one your opponent has to beat on their turn. So, make sure you choose wisely!

If you don’t want to or can’t play a card from the deck, you’ll have to take cards from the deck. If the top card of the deck is not the trump suit, you’ll only draw one card. But if it is a trump card that’s not the ace, you’ll have to draw three cards. And if it is the ace of trumps, you’ll have to draw the entire deck. Once you draw cards from the deck, your turn is over and the next player will have to beat the card that’s left on top of the deck, if there’s one.

If, after your turn, you have less than three cards, you’ll have to draw cards from the stock until you have three cards in your hand. The revealed trump card will be the last card of the stock, and once it’s drawn, the game will continue without drawing any more cards.

If all the cards run out, the next person to play will start a new pile by playing any card. This also applies if you play your last card to beat the previous card but don’t have a second card to play. The next person plays as if they’re starting a new pile on the old one.

The Game Ends

As players get rid of their cards, they are out of the game. The last person who empties their hand is the loser, unless they have only one card left that can beat the top card of the pile. If they do, the game is a draw. The person who dealt the cards last will deal again.
