Drop dead – learn how to play with

By: Dennis B. B. Taylor

Welcome to Drop Dead!

In this fun and exciting game, I’ll be pushing my luck to see how many times I can roll the dice without getting a 2 or a 5. It’s a great way to break the ice at game night or even decide who gets to go first in the main game. And hey, why not use it at a bar or coffee shop to determine who buys the next round?

How to Play

First, let’s all take turns rolling all five dice. The player with the highest total will go first. Simple enough, right?

On my first turn, I’ll roll all five dice. As I keep on rolling, my score will keep increasing. If I manage to avoid rolling any 2’s or 5’s, I’ll earn points equal to the sum of the dice. Then, I can choose to roll again, adding up my new sum to my total score. The best part is, as long as I avoid those pesky 2’s and 5’s, I can keep on rolling!

When you roll a dice, if you get a 2 or a 5, those are considered dead dice. This means that you don’t get any points for them and they are removed from play. However, you still have a chance to keep playing by rolling the remaining dice.

Once you roll a 2 or a 5 with your final die, it’s time to pass the dice to the next player. This means that your turn is over and you have to wait for your next chance to play.

WINNING

After everyone has taken their turn, the game comes to an end. The player who has the highest total score is declared the winner.
