Hey there! The world is different now. It’s the 26th century and New Earth is picking up the pieces after the Day of Purgation. This crazy explosion rocked the whole planet, wiping out most people and making the surface unlivable.

We have no idea what exactly caused the end of the world. All we could do was hunker down and wait for things to calm down.

Welcome to a world where the remnants of humanity have come together, each following a unique ideology known as a Path. There are four Paths in total: the peaceful Path of Harmony, the stern Path of Dominance, the cunning Path of Progress, and the devout Path of Salvation. Each Path represents a distinct way of life and has its own home base.

The followers of the Path of Harmony live in one of the last remaining areas of untouched nature, filled with beautiful plants and animals. They coexist peacefully with the natural world, cherishing its beauty and finding solace within it.

The Path of Dominance is quite different, as its followers reside on a massive ship that floats through the endless oceans. This floating metropolis is their home, and from here, they assert their dominance over the seas, exploring and conquering new territories.

If you look up to the sky, you’ll find the Path of Progress. Its followers live in a city high above the Earth, where they observe and monitor the world below. From this vantage point, they strive to advance society and push the boundaries of knowledge and technology.

The Path of Salvation takes a different approach and finds its home underground, in vast halls and chambers. Devout and committed, the followers of this Path seek spiritual enlightenment and dedicate themselves to a life of contemplation and reverence.

While the followers of the four Paths coexist and share the planet, they do so with little interaction. Their paths rarely cross, and the only meeting point for all is the Capital, the last independent city on Earth. It is here, under the governance of the World Council, that the followers of the different Paths come together, attempting to maintain a fragile peace and navigate the complexities of this post-apocalyptic world.

Years and years passed, and explorers stumbled onto a surprising find at the barren Ground Zero of the Day of Purgation. They stumbled upon a valuable substance they called Neutronium, light yet incredibly durable, making it the perfect material for construction.

In honor of the 300th anniversary of that fateful day, the World Council decided to build five Monuments entirely out of Neutronium. These Monuments would symbolize the four Paths and the World Capital. The moment the celebration started, the delegations from each Path witnessed a moment that would forever change humanity.

The Monuments, powered by Neutronium, started to open up time Rifts from the future. It was a mind-boggling revelation – Neutronium had the ability to create wormholes through time when it came into contact with energy.

When I think about the future, it’s both exciting and scary. We’ve accomplished so much as a species, thanks to our connection to what’s to come. But, we’ve also discovered something unsettling – the Purgation. It turns out, it all started with the Time Rifts.

These Time Rifts allowed the destructive energy of an asteroid impact in the future to travel back in time. The reason for this is the immense amount of Neutronium found within the asteroid. Now, this impending impact threatens not only the present but also the future, hanging over us like a dark cloud.

Given the resources and knowledge from both the present and future, each Path is determined to prepare for this looming catastrophe. They want to not just survive, but also gain control over the future, establishing themselves as the one true Path for humanity.
