Their actions, while noble in intention, can have far-reaching consequences, forever altering the lives of those involved. And yet, the Blood Bound Inquisitor remains resolute, bound by an unwavering commitment to uncovering the truth, no matter the cost.

So, what can we learn from the enigmatic figure that is the Blood Bound Inquisitor? Perhaps it is the value of truth and justice in a world that can often seem shrouded in darkness. Perhaps it is the reminder that even in the face of adversity, we must remain steadfast in our pursuit of what is right.

In the end, the Blood Bound Inquisitor serves as a reminder of the complexities of justice and the power of unyielding determination. They are a symbol of the eternal struggle between light and darkness, a beacon of hope for those who seek the truth in a world of shadows.

To play Blood Bound with an odd number of players, you’ll need to involve the Inquisitor character from the Secret Order. The Inquisitor is a unique role that brings a twist to the game. While their character card may display either a rose or beast clue icon, they are firmly part of the Secret Order.

Now let’s talk about the changes you’ll need to make to the setup when including the Inquisitor.

First, gather all the game components as usual. Then, when distributing character cards to the players, remember to include the Inquisitor card if you have an odd number of players. The Inquisitor card should be placed face-up in front of the player who will be taking on this role.

Next, after the secret teams have been assigned, the player with the Inquisitor card will need to reveal the other Secret Order players. This means showing their character card to the rest of the players. This step is crucial, as it helps establish who the Inquisitor’s teammates are. It’s important to note that the Inquisitor’s clue icon has no effect on their actual affiliation; it simply adds an element of mystery to the game.

From this point on, the Inquisitor will participate in the game just like any other player. They will need to communicate with their team, gather information, and make strategic decisions to uncover the enemy’s identity. However, it’s worth mentioning that the Inquisitor doesn’t possess any special powers or abilities. They rely on their wits and deduction skills, just like everyone else.

Remember, including the Inquisitor adds an exciting dynamic to the game, especially since they are part of the Secret Order despite their clue icon. So, gather your friends, set up the game, and get ready for a thrilling round of Blood Bound!

Whenever I play with the Inquisitor, one important thing I do is place the rank token that shows the fleur cross symbol () right next to the rows of numbered rank tokens. It’s a simple step, but it sets the stage for the game.

Now, before we move on, let me explain step 3 of the setup. Normally, you would shuffle all the character cards and deal them out, but with the Inquisitor, we have a little twist. We start by taking all the Rose clan character cards and shuffling them face down. Then, we set aside a number of these cards equal to half the total number of players, rounded down. These set-aside cards won’t be used in the game.

After that, we do the same thing with the Beast clan character cards. Shuffle them face down, set aside some, and forget about the rest. And don’t forget about the Inquisitor! Shuffle both Inquisitor character cards face down. Keep one for the setup and put the other one back in the game box without peeking at it.

A Character Unlike Any Other

When it comes to the Inquisitor, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Let me break it down for you:

  • Unique Skills: The Inquisitor has a set of abilities that sets them apart from the rest. These skills can be highly effective in certain situations, allowing me to navigate challenges with ease.
  • Unwavering Determination: As the Inquisitor, I possess a remarkable level of determination. This means I won’t back down from any challenge, no matter how tough it may seem. I have the resolve to keep pushing forward, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
  • Unmatched Resourcefulness: One of the key traits of the Inquisitor is their resourcefulness. I am constantly finding creative solutions to problems, using whatever tools and knowledge I have at my disposal. No matter how dire the situation may be, you can count on me to come up with a clever solution.
  • Unique Perspective: The Inquisitor has a way of looking at things that is unlike anyone else. I see the world through a different lens, noticing details and connections that others may overlook. This allows me to understand complex situations and make informed decisions.

So, if you’re looking for a character with unparalleled skills, unwavering determination, unmatched resourcefulness, and a unique perspective, then look no further than the Inquisitor. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

  • If a player has already had three wounds, I cannot attack them. I must search for someone else to hunt.
  • When I am wounded, I can choose any affiliation token. I am not bound by a specific affiliation.

My Special Ability as an Inquisitor

When it comes to being an Inquisitor, there are a couple of important things to keep in mind. First, I can only go after someone who hasn’t already suffered three wounds. That means if a player has reached their limit, I’ll have to look for someone else to hunt down.

But here’s where things get interesting. When I, as an Inquisitor, suffer a wound, I have the power to choose any type of affiliation token. Unlike others who have to stick with a specific affiliation, I can be flexible and adapt to any situation. This gives me a unique advantage and makes me a force to be reckoned with.

Being an Inquisitor is no easy task, but with these abilities, I have the power to change the game. So watch out, because when I come for you, there’s no escaping my grasp.

When I use my ability as the Inquisitor, I do something pretty interesting. I take all curse cards from the supply and have a look at them. Then, I give them to the players that I choose, but here’s the catch – I give them facedown, so nobody can see what they are until the game is over!

Now, here’s the important part: each curse card goes to a different player, and I can give them in any order I want. The players who receive the cards can’t peek at them, so it’s all a big secret until the end.

Why do I do this? Well, my goal as the Inquisitor is to curse the leader of the winning clan and steal their victory. So, I need to find the “True Curse” ability card and give it to the leader of the victorious clan. If I succeed, I win the game all by myself!

So, how do I win as the Inquisitor?

First, we determine the clan that comes out on top, just like in any normal game. Then, we flip all the curse cards faceup, revealing their true identity. If the leader of the winning clan happens to have the “True Curse” ability card, I swoop in and steal the victory away from them. The game is then mine and mine alone!

If I’m not the leader of the victorious clan, the “True Curse” ability card won’t do anything for me. It only works for the leader.

Oh, and here’s an interesting twist: If the Inquisitor gets captured, he actually wins the game all by himself. Talk about a surprise ending!
