Once you’re satisfied with your roll or you’ve used up all your rolls, you’ll choose a category on your scorecard to score in. Each category has its own scoring rules. For example, in the “ones” category, you’ll score the total of all the ones you rolled. In the “full house” category, you’ll score 25 points if you have three of one number and two of another number.
The game continues until all the players have completed all 13 rounds. At the end of the game, each player adds up their total score from all the categories. The player with the highest score wins.

Rolling: When you pick a game from the menu, the dice will roll on their own. Each one will make a beep sound and stop to show a number. In some games, there are also special WILD dice!
Here’s what you need to know: When I roll the dice, each one will pause for a moment, giving you a chance to decide what to do. If you don’t want to roll a particular die again, simply put it alongside another die so that they are touching. Remember, you can’t hold a single die – you need to hold at least two together.
Keep in mind: If you do want to reroll any dice, make sure they are not touching any others. To reroll a single die, just press its button, and it will roll again after a brief pause and a beep.
After you’ve rerolled, put the dice you want to hold back in place next to the others.
If you change your mind and no longer want to hold a die, just separate it from the others.
Okay, so here’s what I did. I took the two 4s and put them next to each other. Then, I took the other three dice and set them aside to roll again.

Note: If you wanna score your first roll, separate one die, then line ’em up again to score. You can reroll any die up to two more times. To score, you gotta line up all five dice. For each combo, the game will give ya the highest possible score. And get this, you can even score for the same combo more than once!

- I start with five dice.
- I shake them up and toss them onto the table.
- I hope that all five dice show the same number – that’s a Yahtzee!
- If I get a Yahtzee, I claim the victory and celebrate!
- If I don’t get a Yahtzee, I keep rolling the dice and trying again.
- I keep going until I finally roll three Yahtzees.
The key to winning is to be fast and get those Yahtzees in the shortest amount of time!

In this game, the objective is to complete each round as quickly as possible by rolling the dice and making quick decisions.

Here’s how it works: I’ll roll the dice for you, and you’ll need to make snap decisions. You’ll choose which dice to keep and which ones to reroll in order to create the highest-scoring combinations.
Speed is key in Yahtzee Sprint. Try to make quick, smart choices and complete each round as fast as you can. The faster you are, the better your score will be!
Game 4: Yahtzee Pass
Two or More Players
Objective
In Yahtzee Pass, the objective is to roll a Yahtzee before time runs out and then pass the dice to the next player. The last player standing wins!
Gameplay
Here’s how you play: Each player takes turns rolling the dice and trying to roll a Yahtzee. If time runs out before a player achieves a Yahtzee, they’re out of the game. The last player left in the game is the winner!
Now that you know the basics of each game, it’s time to grab some dice and start playing Yahtzee. Have a blast!
- Let’s decide who goes first. To start the game, I just need to press the button under “4” on the Game Menu.
- When it’s your turn, try to roll for a Yahtzee like we did in Game 1. You don’t have a limited number of rolls, and WILD dice can match any number:
- If you manage to roll a Yahtzee before time runs out, the dice will show YAHTZEE! followed by NEXT. It will be then the next player’s turn, and they can press the button under “NE” or “XT” to start their turn.
If you don’t roll a Yahtzee before the time runs out, the dice will display Line up all five dice. They will show OUT first, followed by NEXT. If this happens, it means you’re out of the game! You’ll need to pass the dice to the next player.
