How to Win
The goal is to collect the most money throughout the game. After three complete rounds, the player with the highest amount of money wins.
Getting Started
To begin, shuffle the Money cards and place them facedown in the middle of the play area. Do the same with the Abide cards. Make sure all players have an answer sheet and a pencil and write their name at the top of their sheet.
Choose any of the 10 Question Cards to use while playing. (You only need this card for the entire game). Put the other 9 cards back in the box.
The player who is the shortest takes the Question Card and begins the game by following the rules listed below. The game proceeds in a clockwise direction.

Here’s how to play the Abide game:
- Pick a card from the Abide deck and read it out loud. Place the card face-up next to the deck and abide by its instructions.
- Open the Question Card and read the movie reference and loaded question aloud. You might want to repeat the question to make sure everyone remembers it.
- Everyone except you writes their answer to the question on their answer sheet.
- Use one line per answer and fill out the sheet from top to bottom.
- There are no right or wrong answers, and your answers don’t have to relate to the movie. You can write anything you want, but make sure it’s legible. Funny and creative answers might increase your chances of winning.

All the answers are gathered, mixed up, and then said aloud by the person sitting to your right. (You won’t see the writing because the person to your right is reading them out loud). After hearing ALL of the answers, your FIRST job is to pick out your favorite one, and THEN try to figure out who wrote each answer. It’s helpful to hear the question again before the answers are read out loud. The reader should make sure they know all the answers before reading them aloud. When the answers are read out, try to be sneaky and not give away any hints about who wrote them or which one is your favorite. You can choose your favorite answer based on whether it’s funny, honest, creative, or just plain silly. It’s your decision, man.
When you’re trying to guess players’ answers, you can use the right side of your answer sheets to jot down notes. Alternatively, you can doodle like Jackie Treehorn if you want. After all, it’s all about having fun!
Once you’ve made your guesses for all the answers (not one at a time), the player sitting to your right will reveal who wrote each answer. You’ll earn a Money card from the top of the deck for every correct match you make. Once you’ve collected your Money card(s), the player who wrote your favorite answer gets to pick a card from the top of the Money deck. It’s a good idea to keep the value of your Money cards a secret until the end of the game. Remember, play moves clockwise after each turn, so pass the Question Card to the player on your left. Keep playing until every player has had three turns.
It’s Game Over
In the end, the player with the most money wins the game. It’s as simple as that, my friend.
Even if you only have a few Money cards when the game ends, you could still come out on top if the other players picked lower denomination cards. Remember, it’s just a game, dude.
If all the Money cards are gone before the three rounds are up, the game is over, and the player with the most money wins.
How to Play
