Objective
So, what’s the deal? In Wakanda Game, the objective is simple: you want to be the player with the most kingdom points by the end of the game. To collect these precious points, you’ll need to construct buildings, recruit mighty warriors, and take charge of valuable resources. But remember, you won’t be alone in this quest. You’ll be competing against other players, each striving to outsmart and outmaneuver you. Brace yourself, it’s going to be an exciting journey!
Gameplay
Ready to show off your strategic skills? Here’s how the game goes: each round, you’ll choose one action from a set of options, like constructing a building, recruiting warriors, or gathering resources. These actions will bring you closer to victory and help you score those kingdom points. But be careful! Each choice you make will have consequences. You’ll need to think ahead and adapt your strategy as the game progresses. Fortune favors the bold, my friend!
Building your Kingdom
Now, let’s talk about building your kingdom. Buildings are the heart and soul of Wakanda Game. They provide essential resources, allow you to recruit warriors, and offer special abilities to aid you in your conquest. The more buildings you construct, the stronger your kingdom becomes. But here’s the catch: you’ll need to choose wisely. Each building has different benefits and costs. Will you go for a towering palace or a bustling marketplace? The choice is yours!
Recruiting Warriors
What’s a kingdom without its warriors? In Wakanda Game, you’ll have the chance to recruit mighty warriors to protect your lands and expand your influence. Each warrior brings unique abilities and strengths to the table. Some excel in combat, while others specialize in resource gathering or diplomacy. Be strategic in your choices, my friend. A well-balanced army is key to a successful conquest.
Resources are Key
Now, let’s talk about resources. In Wakanda Game, resources are the lifeblood of your kingdom. They enable you to construct buildings, train warriors, and unlock special abilities. There are different types of resources, each obtained through different tactics. For example, you might need to explore uncharted territories, trade with neighboring kingdoms, or mine precious gems. Keep an eye on your resource stockpile and use them wisely. They could be the key to your victory!
Victory
Ah, victory. The sweet taste of triumph. In Wakanda Game, victory is achieved by collecting kingdom points. Remember, the player with the most points at the end of the game wins. So, make every action count, my friend. Plan your moves carefully, adapt to the ever-changing dynamics, and aim for glory. Will you be the one to conquer Wakanda and make your mark in history?
Well, that’s it for the rules, my fellow gamers. It’s time to gather your friends, set up the game board, and embark on an epic adventure. The land of Wakanda awaits you. Are you ready?
Once every 100 moons, tribesfolk from far and wide come together to shape magnificent totems. These totems are more than mere sculptures—they embody the very essence of our families, villages, bravery, and heritage. And so, with chisels in hand, we embark on the sacred task of creating our masterpieces, each tribe vying to craft the most esteemed totem pole and claim victory in the grand contest.

Components
- There are 21 wooden totems for you to use.
- You will receive 1 non-transparent cloth bag.
- You will also have 8 village tiles at your disposal.
- There are 3 “Wings” headdresses available.
- There are also 3 “Crests” headdresses to choose from.
- You will find a rulebook included.
Object of the Game
Your goal is to construct the most prestigious totem poles you can.
Getting Started
First, take your three headdresses – Wings or Crests – and set them up in front of you.
Now, let’s prepare the game board. Start by shuffling the eight village tiles and secretly removing two of them from play.
Next, arrange the remaining six village tiles in a row, face-up, between you and your opponent. However, the last three tiles should be turned 90 degrees, indicating that they can’t be used to build Totems just yet.
Finally, take the 21 totems and place them in a bag.
When it’s my turn to play, I start the game by shouting a war cry. Then, we take turns playing.
How to Play
During my turn, I need to follow these steps:
- Pick a totem from the bag and keep it.
Note: If there are no more totems left, move on to step 2.
Build a totem
Finish a totem pole:
After I finish my turn, it’s the next player’s turn.
Note: I can’t skip my turn. I have to play.
The game continues until all 6 totem poles are finished (3 for each player). If a player runs out of headdresses, they still keep playing until they have no more totems and the bag is empty, or until all 6 totem poles are finished.
Game Over
The game comes to an end when all 6 totem poles have been completed. At this point, it’s time to tally up the points. You earn points for each of your totems based on the village tiles they’re constructed on. Each village grants points for all elements connected to the totem poles under your control.
However, there is a twist. You need to subtract 1 point for each sun on your totem poles, unless you have the Sun Village Tile. So pay attention to how many suns you have lurking on your totems!
The ultimate victor is the player with the highest number of points. In the event of a tie, the player who placed their third headdress first will be crowned the winner.

Next Level Play
When I play a daring game, I sometimes choose to keep the future villages a secret. I hide the three unavailable village tiles, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal them.
Only when one of the three available villages has finished its totem pole, do I unveil these hidden treasures.
Scoring a Village in Detail:
- Eagle: You earn 8 points for each eagle on your totem poles.
- Chief: You earn 5 points for each chief on your totem poles.
- Tomahawk: You earn 4 points for each tomahawk on your totem poles.
- Animal Skin: You earn 3 points for each skin on your totem poles.
- Teepee: You earn 2 points for each teepee on your totem poles.
- Variety: You earn 2 points for each different paint color on your totem poles.
- Height: You earn 2 points for each totem piece on your tallest totem pole.
- Sun: I’m your friend if you have me on your totem poles. Each sun is worth 1 point. But hey, if you forget to bring your totem to the village, I’ll take away 1 point for each sun you have. So, don’t leave home without your totem!
