What’s in the box?

- 55 Monster Cards: These cards feature different creatures and monsters, each with its own unique abilities and powers. Collect them to gain points and outwit your opponents.
- 2 Dice: Roll these dice to determine your actions and the fate of your monster buddies. Will luck be on your side, or will you need to come up with a clever strategy?
- 1 Zilch Token: This token sits at the center of the table, adding an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the game. Keep an eye on it, as it may hold the key to victory!
The Monster Match
The objective of the game is simple: Collect as many Monster Cards as you can to earn the highest score and prove yourself as the ultimate monster wrangler.
Getting Started
Now that you know what’s in the box, let’s dive into the setup process:
- Place the Zilch Token in the middle of the table. It will act as a focal point and a source of excitement throughout the game.
- Shuffle the deck of Monster Cards and randomly lay out 10 cards face-up around the Zilch Token. These cards will form the playing field and provide you with your first options.
- Take the remaining deck of Monster Cards and place it face-down on the table. This deck holds the surprises and possibilities you’ll encounter as the game progresses.
- Finally, give the dice to the player who can boast about being the most recent donut devourer. This person will be your Baker, and they will roll the dice to determine the outcome of each round.

Welcome to the “4 Eyes” game, where we search for monsters with four eyes. It’s a fun adventure that will test your observation skills!
II. Finding the Perfect Match
When you find a monster that has the same number of eyes as shown on the dice, go ahead and touch that Monster Card!
Remember, you can only choose one Monster Card each round, and once you touch a Monster Card, you can’t change your selection.
Don’t worry if you can’t find a match right away. Keep searching while other players continue their hunt.
III. No Matches Found
So, here’s the deal: after we roll the dice, we gotta be quick. If we don’t see any Monster Cards on the table that match the dice, I need to grab that Zilch Token before anyone else does. But here’s the catch: if someone else makes a correct match right after the dice roll, I won’t be able to snatch that Zilch Token.
Now, if I manage to grab that Zilch Token correctly, it’s celebration time! I get to take the top card from the Monster Card deck and add it to my Score Pile. Plus, I even get to take a peek at the card. Pretty cool, right?
After that, we leave the rest of the Monster Cards on the table and bring in some fresh blood. We add 10 new monsters from the Monster Card deck. Then it’s time to pass the dice over to the person on my left, the new Baker. They get to roll the dice and start the next round.
IV. Oops, Mistakes Happen
Now, sometimes we mess up. There are two ways to make a mistake:
- I accidentally pick a Monster Card that doesn’t match the dice. Whoops!
- I mistakenly grab the Zilch Token. My bad!
If you don’t collect a Monster Card, there are still other ways to keep the game going. Instead, grab the top card from your Score Pile (if you have one) and put it back into play on the table.
Step 5: Score and Pass the Dice
Once every player has chosen a Monster Card or there are no more matches left, the round comes to an end.
If you made the right pick this round, take the Monster Card and place it face-down in front of you.
This pile of cards is called your Score Pile. The number of donuts on each Monster Card represents the points you score at the end of the game!
Keep the remaining Monster Cards on the table; there’s no need to deal new ones. Pass the dice to the person on your left to start the next round.
End of the Game
When the Monster Card deck is empty, the game is over. Don’t worry about the cards left on the table – they don’t count. Instead, it’s time to tally up your scores.
When it comes to scoring points, you want to tally up the donuts on your Monster Cards in the Score Pile. Each card will have between 1 and 3 donuts.
