Together, we’ll travel around the board, buying properties, and collecting rent. The best part? The game doesn’t end until one of us goes bankrupt. May the richest and shrewdest player win!
What Makes Monopoly Voice Banking Special?
All Aboard!

Why bother buying the railroads when you can just hop on board? Let Mr. Monopoly take you for a spin and land you on a random property. From there, you’ll have a few options: you can snatch up that property for yourself, put it up for auction to see who’s willing to pay top dollar, or if someone else already owns it, you can pay them rent.
Mandatory Deals

If you land on a Trade space, you can choose to pay M100 and trade one of your undeveloped properties for another player’s undeveloped property. It’s a great way to make strategic moves and get closer to forming monopolies!
Build Hotels Faster
With Mr. Monopoly as your Banker, you can speed up the building process. Instead of starting with houses, you can jump straight to hotels! Each property allows you to build either one house or one hotel. Once you have buildings up, you can’t sell them back, so choose wisely!

The Get Out of Jail Free Card
Auctions Hosted By Mr. Monopoly

When you don’t want to purchase a property, you have the option of auctioning it off, with a little assistance from Mr. Monopoly! All players can participate in the auction by pressing the button on their token, and each bid increases the price by M50. The player who places the highest bid will be rewarded with the Title Deed and the corresponding payment will be deducted from their account.
The Banking Unit
If you want to use the banking unit during the game, simply press the button on your token. Once you hear a beep, you can give a command from the options provided on the right side or refer to your reference card for a list of available commands.
Getting Started
Are you interested in understanding the ins and outs of web development? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Today, I want to talk about the importance of choosing the right programming language for your web projects.
HTML, or HyperText Markup Language, is a key component of web development. It’s responsible for structuring the content of web pages and is widely used across the internet. Understanding HTML is crucial if you want to create visually appealing and well-organized websites.
Choosing the Right Programming Language
When it comes to choosing a programming language for web development, you need to take several factors into account. Each language has its unique features and advantages, so it’s important to choose the one that best suits your needs.
One of the key factors to consider is the purpose of your website. Are you building a simple blog, an e-commerce platform, or a dynamic web application? The programming language you choose should align with the goals and requirements of your project.
Another factor to consider is your level of experience and familiarity with different languages. If you’re new to web development, starting with a beginner-friendly language like Python or JavaScript might be a good choice. These languages have vast resources and a supportive community, making it easier for beginners to learn and troubleshoot issues.
Additionally, think about the resources and tools available for each language. Some programming languages have a wide range of libraries, frameworks, and extensions that can speed up development and provide additional functionality. Researching the ecosystem surrounding each language can help you make an informed decision.
HTML and Beyond
Although HTML is an essential part of web development, it’s important to realize that it’s not the only tool in your toolbox. Modern web development often involves combining HTML with other programming languages and technologies to create dynamic and interactive websites.
CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets, is used to control the visual appearance of web pages. It allows you to customize fonts, colors, layouts, and other styles to create the desired look and feel.
JavaScript is another powerful language that adds interactivity and functionality to web pages. With JavaScript, you can create dynamic elements, handle user interactions, and perform complex operations on the client-side.
Conclusion
In conclusion, understanding the importance of choosing the right programming language for web development is crucial. Each language has its strengths and weaknesses, so it’s important to consider your goals, experience, and project requirements. Whether you’re starting with HTML or exploring other languages like CSS and JavaScript, the world of web development is full of possibilities. By following your passion and continuously learning, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a skilled web developer.

Let me walk you through the steps you need to follow to set up a game of Monopoly:
- Make sure everyone can easily access the Houses, Hotels, and Get Out of Jail Free card.
- Keep the Title Deed cards next to the corresponding spaces on the board.
- Each player should pick a token and place it on the starting point, which is GO.
- Every player should take a reference card.
- Put the dice beside the gameboard.
- Now, let’s set up the banking unit. When you play Monopoly for the first time, replace the batteries in the unit if needed. You can find more information about the batteries in the game guide. Then, switch the unit from “Try me” to “On”.

Hey there! Are you ready to play Monopoly? I’m Mr. Monopoly, and I’m excited to start the game. All you have to do is press the button on your token to join in. Just so you know, each player will start with M1500 in their pocket. So, let’s get started and have some fun!
Game Play
How to Win
Hey there! Let me show you how to win at this awesome game. So, the key is to move around the board and buy as many properties as you can. The more properties you own, the more rent you can collect, just like in regular Monopoly. And here’s the exciting part – if you end up with the most money and the highest property value at the end of the game, you win! How cool is that?
Now, let’s talk about how to play. Each player takes turns rolling both dice. The player who rolls the highest number gets to start, and then play moves to the left.
On your turn
- First, roll both dice.
- Then, move your token clockwise that number of spaces.
- Okay, now pay attention! Depending on where you land, you have to follow the rules of that board space. Just follow the commands given using the banking unit. Oh, and guess what? If you roll doubles, you get to roll the dice again and take another turn. How lucky! But be careful, if you roll doubles three times in a row, you’re in big trouble. You have to go to Jail immediately and don’t complete your third turn. Yikes!
Pass the dice to the player on your left when their turn starts. Your turn ends as soon as the next player rolls the dice.
Let’s talk about the different spaces on the game board.
First, we have the properties. These are the spaces where you can buy and own different buildings, like houses and hotels. If you land on a property that is not owned by anyone, you have the option to buy it and become the owner. If you land on a property that is already owned by another player, you have to pay them rent.
Next, we have the chance and community chest spaces. These spaces give you a card that tells you to do something special. It might be good, like getting some extra money, or it might be bad, like going to jail.
There are also spaces for utilities and railroads. If you land on a utility space, you have to pay the owner a certain amount of money. The same goes for the railroad spaces.
And finally, we have the tax and jail spaces. If you land on a tax space, you have to pay a certain amount of money to the bank. If you land on the jail space, you have to go to jail and wait for a few turns before you can get out.
So remember, when you play Monopoly, pass the dice to your left and take your turn. And don’t forget about all the different spaces on the board – they can have a big impact on the game!

Unowned Properties
When you land on a property that nobody owns, you have two options. You can either buy the property at the listed price, or you can choose to auction it off.
Want to Buy It?
- Make sure you have enough money to buy the property.
- Press your token’s button on the banking unit and say, “Buy [property name]”.
- Mr. Monopoly will let you know how much money he deducted from your account for the purchase.
- Take the Title Deed card for the property.
Don’t Want to Buy It?
If you decide not to buy the property, it will be put up for auction.
- Press your token’s button on the banking unit and say, “Auction off [property name]”.
- The property will now be sold to the highest bidder in the auction.
- Get ready to push your button if you want to participate. Mr. Monopoly will start the bidding at M50. As long as you have enough money in your account, you can bid M50 by pushing your token’s button before anyone else.
- Whenever you want to bid, just press your token’s button. Each bid will increase the price by M50. Let’s say we’re auctioning Boardwalk. The first player to push their token’s button will bid M50. The second player will bid M100. If another player wants to bid, they’ll bid M150, and so on. Mr. Monopoly will give you a few seconds between bids before asking if anyone else wants to bid.
When the auction starts, I’ll take bids from all the players. The bidding continues until no one wants to bid anymore. The player who offers the highest bid gets the property and Mr. Monopoly will deduct the bid amount from their account. They also receive the Title Deed card for the property. If no one is interested in the property, that’s okay. No one has to pay anything and the Title Deed card remains in its place. Before ending the auction, Mr. Monopoly will give everyone a final chance to bid by saying, “Going once . . . going twice . . . nobody wants it for 50? OK! I’ll keep it!” Once the auction is over, the highest bidder gets the property.
Now, let’s talk about collecting color sets. When you have all the properties of the same color, you can start building houses and hotels on them. This is a great strategy because it makes your opponents pay you more rent when they land on your properties. So, keep an eye out for properties of the same color and try to collect all of them. It will give you an advantage in the game!

Imagine this: you’re the ruler of an entire neighborhood. Every street in a particular color group is under your command. And do you know what that means?
- You have the power to increase the rent you collect from other players!
- You can build houses and hotels on your properties to charge even higher rent!
Let me give you a smart tip: when you have a complete set, don’t waste any time. Start building right away! That way, no one can force you to trade a property with a building on it.
Your Owned Properties

Hey there! So, imagine this: you land on a property that isn’t yours, and the owner wants some cash from you. It’s called rent. If they ask you for rent, you gotta hand over the money. But guess what? If they forget to ask before the next player’s turn, you can keep your cash! Pretty cool, right?
- Here’s what you do: press the button on your token and say, “Pay rent ON”. You’ll hear a ping sound. Then, say the name of the property, like, “Mediterranean Avenue”.
- Listen up! Mr. Monopoly will tell you how much rent he took from your account and gave to the property owner. Remember that!
Want Some Tips for Using the Banking Unit?

When you press the button on your token to give a command, you’ll hear a beep – that means Mr. Monopoly is listening. Wait for the beep before giving a command. Some commands have two parts, and you need to wait for a ping sound before saying the second half. For example, if you want to buy a property, press your token’s button, hear the beep, then say “Buy”. Wait for the ping sound, then say the property’s name.
You don’t have to hold down your token’s button while talking to Mr. Monopoly.
Use your reference card as your guide.
Speak clearly and naturally, but don’t yell. And make sure to use the property names exactly as they appear on the board so that Mr. Monopoly can hear you and be the best Banker he can be!
I’m here to help you navigate through this exciting game called Monopoly. Let me tell you a couple of neat tricks that will make your gameplay even more enjoyable. First, we have the Undo button. If you make a mistake or want to go back one step, this button will come to your rescue, but remember, you can only go back one step. Another helpful tool is the Repeat button. Just like its name suggests, it will repeat the last thing I said, in case you missed it or need a reminder. Sometimes you might ask me to do something that I can’t fulfill, like buying a property someone else already owns or paying for something you can’t afford. In those situations, I will let you know, and maybe even ask a follow-up question. If I don’t ask anything else, simply press your button and try a different command. Now let’s talk about action spaces.
In the world of Monopoly, we have this special place called “Go.” It’s like our starting point, and passing through it gives you some sweet benefits. Every time you land on or pass through Go, you collect $200. It’s a nice little bonus that can really boost your bankroll.

Hey, did you know that when you land on or pass the GO space in the game, you receive M200 from the Bank? It’s pretty cool, right?
- All you have to do is press your token’s button and say “Pass GO”.
- Guess what? Mr. Monopoly himself will deposit M200 into your account!
Here’s something interesting:

Press the button on your token in the banking unit and say, “Chance card”. Mr. Monopoly will let you know what your card says and make adjustments to your account if needed. Railroads are another important aspect of the game.

Hey there! Let’s go on a fun adventure and explore a new property! We’re going to hop on a train and take a ride to a random spot. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

- Press your token’s button on the banking unit, and say, “Train ride”.
- Mr. Monopoly will let you know where you’ve traveled. Move your token to that place and do what it says. Remember, you don’t get M200 if you pass GO.
Free Parking
Take a break! You don’t have to do anything.

Greetings from Jail!
Hey there, if you end up on this square, pop your token into the “Just Visiting” corner, and make sure to say hi to any pals incarcerated in Jail.
Exchange Your Way to Victory

Hey there! Welcome to this interesting situation. Here’s how it works: if you decide to land here, you have the option to pay M100 and trade any one of your properties for one of another player’s properties. Pretty cool, right?
Now, there are a few rules to keep in mind. You can’t choose properties that are part of a developed set – that means a complete set with at least one building. However, you do have the option to choose a property that is part of a complete set with no buildings. It’s like a puzzle!
- So, if you’re ready to make a trade, grab your token and press its button on the banking unit. Then, say “Trade” and wait for the ping sound. After that, say the name of the property you want to trade.
- Mr. Monopoly will ask you which property you’d like to trade yours for. Just respond with the name of the property, like “Marvin Gardens”. If you try to trade a property you don’t own or ask for one that isn’t available, Mr. Monopoly will kindly ask you to choose another.
- Now comes the fun part – swapping Title Deeds! Mr. Monopoly will remember the trade for you, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of everything.
Head to Jail
Have you ever found yourself in a bit of a predicament? You know, the kind where you’re in some trouble and you’re not quite sure how to get out of it? Well, imagine this: you’re wandering along, minding your own business, when all of a sudden, you find yourself facing a grim reality. You have to go to jail.
Now, going to jail might not be the most pleasant experience, but believe it or not, there’s some good that can come out of it. How, you ask? Well, let me tell you.
You see, going to jail can be a wake-up call of sorts. It’s like a moment of truth where you have to take a long, hard look at yourself and reflect on your actions. It’s an opportunity for self-improvement and growth.
When you’re in jail, you have a lot of time on your hands. And with that time, you can do some serious soul-searching. You can think about the choices you’ve made and the consequences they’ve brought about. It’s a chance to learn from your mistakes and make a plan for a better future.
But that’s not all. Going to jail also gives you a chance to connect with others who may be in similar situations. You can learn from their experiences and gain new insights. It’s an opportunity to build connections and form supportive relationships.
Of course, going to jail isn’t something to strive for. It’s not a destination you want to purposefully end up at. But if life happens to throw you a curveball and you find yourself facing some time behind bars, don’t despair. Look at it as an unexpected detour on your journey. Embrace the challenges it brings and use them as stepping stones towards a brighter future.

Hey there! You landed in Jail! No worries, just move your token to the In Jail space right away. But hold on, this means you won’t collect M200 for passing GO. And guess what? You don’t even have to let Mr. Monopoly know that you’re in Jail.
Your turn ends here. However, don’t lose hope! You can still collect rent, participate in auctions, and even buy Houses and Hotels. Oh, and guess what? Other players can still propose trades to you while you’re in Jail.
So, how do you get out of Jail?
- If you want to pay your way out, simply shell out M50 at the start of your next turn. Just press the button on your token at the banking unit and say, “Get out of Jail.” Mr. Monopoly will deduct M50 from your account, and then it’s time for you to roll the dice and make your move.
- If you’re lucky enough to have a Get Out of Jail Free card, you can use it to escape at the start of your next turn. Press the button on your token at the banking unit and say, “Get out of Jail.” Then go ahead and roll the dice, and make your move.
- If you roll doubles on your next turn, you’re free! Just roll and move. You have three turns to try for doubles. But if you can’t roll doubles by your third turn in Jail, you’ll need to pay a fine.
Buildings
Building Houses and Hotels
As soon as you have a color set, you can start building Houses and Hotels (no need to wait for your turn).
Each property can have either one House or one Hotel.

If I want to build a house on a property, I can do it as long as it’s part of a complete color set. However, I have to pay Mr. Monopoly for the cost of the house. Once I’ve paid, I can place the house on the property.
If I decide to upgrade the house to a hotel later, I need to remove the house first and replace it with a hotel.
Here’s the interesting part: I don’t have to build houses first before hotels. I can go straight to building a hotel if I want to! If I do that on a property that doesn’t have a house, Mr. Monopoly will charge me for both a house and a hotel. I can then place the hotel on that space.
Once I build houses or hotels, I can’t sell them back. It makes sense because building and taking down a building requires a lot of effort! The houses and hotels will stay where they are unless I use the property to pay off a debt.
What if I Don’t Have Enough Buildings?
If I try to build a building and there are none left, Mr. Monopoly will let me know. In that case, I have to wait until someone loses their buildings due to a debt before I can build.
How to Construct a Building:
To construct a building, follow these steps:
- First, press the button on your token in the banking unit. Then, say either “Build a House” or “Build a Hotel,” depending on which type of building you wish to construct.
- Mr. Monopoly will then ask you on which property you would like to build the structure. Respond by stating the name of the property, such as “Marvin Gardens.”
- Finally, place the purchased building on the designated property!
Property Trades
Property trades are only permitted when a player lands on a Trade space.
What Happens if I Run Out of Cash?
If you owe money but do not have enough cash to pay, you must settle your debt by using any available cash and giving up one of your properties.
So you’re in a bit of a pickle. You owe more money than you have, and Mr. Monopoly wants to know how you plan on settling your debt. He’s giving you a choice – which property are you willing to part with to make things right?
Now, let’s be clear. It doesn’t matter what that property is worth, and it doesn’t matter how much you owe. Just one property, along with any cash you have, will wipe away your entire debt. Sounds pretty good, right?
But there’s a catch. If you happen to give away a property with a building on it, that building goes back to the Bank. And not just that, any other buildings in that set have to go back too. Your set won’t be complete anymore.
Let’s look at an example to make things a bit clearer. Let’s say you have M150 in cash. You own Baltic Avenue, which has a fancy Hotel on it, and Mediterranean Avenue, which is just bare land. You land on Vermont Avenue, which also happens to have its own Hotel, but now you owe another player M400.
- You try to pay the rent, but Mr. Monopoly tells you that you don’t have enough money. He then asks you to choose a property to give to the player you owe.
When you need to pay off a debt in the game, there are a few steps you need to follow. First, you have to tell me which property you want to use for payment. For example, you can say “Mediterranean”. Then, Mr. Monopoly will give that property to the player you owe money to, and you will have to give them the Title Deed card for that property. In addition, you will also have to give them M150 from your balance. After this, your balance will be reduced to zero. Since you no longer own a complete set of properties, you will have to return the Hotel you have on Baltic Avenue back to the Bank.
If you don’t have enough money to pay off your debt and you only have one property, Mr. Monopoly will pay off your debt for you. However, this will result in you going bankrupt and the game ending.
The game will come to an end when a player goes bankrupt, meaning they have no money and no properties left. When this happens, Mr. Monopoly will announce the winner and the game will be over!
By the way, if you want to learn more about the Banking Unit, you can refer to the sections below.
To take a break from your game, all you have to do is set it down. It will automatically go to sleep after Mr. Monopoly responds to a command, and it will wake up again when a player pushes their token’s button.
