Objective
The goal of Loaded Questions Junior is to guess how others will answer random questions. Get ready to laugh and have fun!
Setting Up
First, pick a player to be the Question Reader. This person will read the questions aloud to the other players.
The Question Reader shuffles the cards and places them face down on the table. Each player gets a game board and a pencil to write their answers.
Lastly, each player chooses a colored token and places it on the “Start” space on the game board.
Playing the Game
Ready, set, go! The game begins with the player to the left of the Question Reader. This player picks up the top card from the deck and reads the question out loud.
Each player secretly writes their own answer on their game board. The Question Reader collects all the answers, shuffles them, and reads them out loud – including the correct answer.
Making Guesses
Now it’s time to guess! Each player tries to match the answers with the player who wrote them. The Question Reader reads the answers again, one at a time, while everyone else makes their guesses.
When it’s your turn, point to the player you think wrote the answer. If you guess correctly, you get to move your token forward one space. If you guess wrong, stay where you are.
Winning the Game
The first player to reach the “Finish” space wins the game! But watch out – if you guess your own answer correctly, you have a chance to move forward two spaces.

What’s the Goal of the Game?
The goal of the game is simple: fill in as many bubbles as possible on your answer sheet. You can do this by correctly matching players’ answers on your turn, and by writing down the “favorite” answer on everyone else’s turn.
Let’s Get Set Up
So, here’s what we need to do:
- First, we’ll take all the question cards and place them face down in the middle of the play area. That’s where we’ll draw them from during the game.
- Next, each player will take an answer sheet and write their name at the top. Don’t worry if you don’t have a pencil, we’ll make sure everyone has one.
Now that we’re all set up, let’s get started!
How to Play
When I’m playing the game Loaded Questions Junior Edition, the first thing I do is pick the top card and read aloud one of the questions. It’s an exciting moment because I never know what kind of question I’ll get!

- Before I read the answers, I make sure to familiarize myself with them. It’s important to know what I’ll be hearing!
- Then, I like to hear the question again before reading out the answers. It helps me remember what the question was about.
- Now comes the fun part – choosing my favorite answer! Whether it’s funny, honest, creative, or just plain ridiculous, it’s up to me to decide which one I like the best.
- When the answers are read aloud, I try to be discreet in my reactions. I don’t want to give away which one I think is the best!
At the end of the game
After three full rounds of play, the player with the most filled-in bubbles is the winner in a game with 4-5 players. A full round means that each player has had their turn.
In a game with 6 players, the person who has the most bubbles filled in after two complete rounds wins. If there is a tie, then 2 or more players share the victory, instead of a single winner. Keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers in this game; the goal is to be creative and have fun. The players themselves can decide how much time to allocate for writing and guessing the answers. After using a card, place it at the bottom of the deck.
