Go Nuts! Game Rules
Hey there! Welcome to the world of Go Nuts! I’m thrilled to have you here. Let’s dive right into the rules of this exciting game.
Objective
The goal of Go Nuts! is to score as many points as possible by answering questions correctly. You’ll be presented with a series of questions, and you need to select the correct answer from the options provided. The more questions you answer correctly, the higher your score will be.
Gameplay
To start the game, simply click the “Start” button. A question will appear on the screen, along with multiple options. Carefully read the question and pick the option that you think is the correct answer. Don’t rush, take your time!
Once you’ve made your selection, click the “Submit” button to lock in your answer. If you chose the correct option, you’ll earn points. But if your answer is incorrect, don’t worry! You can always try again with the next question.
The game will continue with a new question for you to answer. Keep answering questions to accumulate more points – it’s that simple! The more questions you get right, the better your chances of achieving a high score.
Scoring
Each correct answer will earn you points. The number of points you receive depends on the difficulty of the question. Harder questions yield higher points, while easier ones award fewer points.
Conclusion
Now that you know the rules of Go Nuts!, it’s time to put your knowledge to the test and have some fun. Remember, the more questions you answer correctly, the higher your score will be. So, get ready, start the game, and show off your trivia skills. Good luck!
Let’s play a fun game where we need to roll the dice to try and score the most points. The winner is the first player to reach 50 points.
Here’s How to Set Up the Game:
Each player will need a dog die, and the five squirrel dice should be placed in the middle of the playing area. One player will be in charge of keeping score.
Now, Let’s Get Started with the Game Play:
The player who ate a nut most recently gets to go first. On your turn, roll all five squirrel dice together. But remember, you only roll your dog die when it’s another player’s turn.
Each die that lands on an acorn is worth one point. The squirrel dice don’t have any value, but you can roll them again. However, if you roll all squirrels or all cars, those dice are out of play. If you didn’t roll all squirrels or all cars, you have two options:
- Add up the number of acorns rolled, and keep rolling any dice that landed on a squirrel or acorn, or
- When I roll the dice, I collect acorns. After I finish rolling, I write down the total number of acorns on the score pad and pass the dice to the person on my left.
- If I want to keep rolling, I add the number of acorns from the new roll to the previous total. But remember, after each roll, I have to decide whether to re-roll all the dice or end my turn.
Go Nuts
If I roll only squirrel dice in a single turn, I lose all the points I’ve collected so far and enter a special Go Nuts! round. I shout “Go Nuts!” and pick up the squirrel dice to roll them as fast as I can. I count out loud as I collect acorns.
So here’s what’s happening: we’re all in a game, and we each have our own dog dice. We take turns rolling our dice as fast as we can. We want to roll a dog, and as soon as we do, we shout “Woof, Woof, Woof!”
Once everyone has rolled a dog, we stop rolling. Then we count up how many acorns we rolled during that round. The person to the left takes their turn next.
Now, listen up: If you happen to roll any cars during the Go Nuts! round, don’t worry. Just pick them up and roll again. No need to keep them to the side.
Let me give you a few examples of how Go Nuts! works:
I want to tell you about a really fun game called Go Nuts! It’s a game where you use dice to collect acorns. Here’s how it works:
If you roll five squirrels on your turn, that’s a Go Nuts! round. When this happens, you shout “Go Nuts!” and quickly roll all five dice to gather as many acorns as you can before your opponents roll dogs.
Now, if you roll a mix of cars and squirrels during your normal turn, it doesn’t count as a Go Nuts! round. In that case, you put the three car dice aside and roll the two squirrel dice again.
That’s how the game goes! It’s all about collecting acorns and having lots of fun. So gather your friends and get ready for a wild game of Go Nuts!
When you roll all the cars using just one die, your turn ends right away, and you lose any points you earned in that turn.
This rule doesn’t affect the points you previously earned in other turns.
The Rule of Having One Die Left
If you’re down to your last die and you roll an acorn, you hit the jackpot! You scoop up all five dice and keep on rolling! Just add the acorn to your previous total. For instance, imagine you rolled two threes and then roll an acorn – the cars would be out of play. But if you decide to go for it and roll that last die, and you get an acorn again, you add one to your previous total and grab all five dice for another go.
Now, remember: if you’re down to one die and you roll a car, your turn is over, and all your points for that turn disappear.
Here’s another twist. If you roll a squirrel, your score gets wiped out too, but you get to play a special Go Nuts! round. Pretty sneaky, huh?
The game keeps going until someone reaches 50 points. Of course, if you want to make it shorter or longer, you can set different point goals before you start playing.
Let me give you an example of how a turn might play out. Picture this:
First Roll:

So, here’s what you do: first, put the car die aside. Then, take a look at the two acorns and count them. After that, roll the four remaining dice one more time.
Alright, let’s see what we got. Hmm, the total comes out to be 2.
Now, on to the second roll! #image.jpg
Once again, we set aside the car die. Oh, and guess what? You get an extra point for rolling an acorn! So, let’s add that point to your previous score.
Okay, now the total is 3. Keep it up!
Time for the third roll! #image.jpg
Set the car die aside and give the remaining dice another roll. This time, you won’t earn any points. But hey, the good news is that you can roll the squirrel dice again.
All in all, the total for this round is still 3.
Ready for the fourth roll? #image.jpg
Great job! You scored two points on this roll, bringing your total to five. Remember, on each roll, you have a choice: you can either take your score and end your turn, or you can keep rolling and aim for a higher score.
So, the total for this turn is 5.

When I roll both dice and get squirrels on both, it’s time for a Go Nuts! round! This special round resets my acorn total to zero. I quickly pick up the dice and roll them as fast as I can. As I roll, I count up the acorns I get until all my opponents roll dogs.
