Game for Fame Game Rules
Welcome to Game for Fame! I’m here to explain the rules of this awesome game. Get ready to have a blast with your friends and family as you compete to become the next superstar!
To start off, each player will choose a colored game piece and place it on the starting space. The goal of the game is to make your way through the board to the finish space, collecting as many fans along the way as possible.
On your turn, you’ll roll the dice and move your game piece forward the number of spaces shown. Once you land on a space, you’ll need to complete the challenge written on it to earn fans. These challenges can be anything from performing a funny dance to answering a trivia question.
But be careful! Some spaces might give you a chance to steal fans from other players, so keep your eyes open for those opportunities. And don’t forget about the Fame Cards! These special cards can give you an advantage or throw a wrench into your plans, so use them wisely.
As you make your way around the board, you’ll encounter different types of spaces. Some spaces will give you a chance to win bonus fans, while others might cause you to lose fans. It’s all part of the game, so embrace the ups and downs and stay focused on your goal.
The game continues until one player reaches the finish space. At that point, the player with the most fans wins and is crowned the superstar of the game. But remember, anything can happen in Game for Fame, so never give up until the very end!
Now that you know the rules, gather your friends and family, and let the fun begin. Game for Fame is all about bringing people together for laughter and friendly competition. So roll the dice, complete the challenges, and show everyone why you deserve to be the next superstar!

Alright, let’s talk about how to win the game and be the ultimate superstar! The person who has the most money at the end of the game will be crowned the winner.
Form Your Teams
First things first, we need to divide ourselves into teams. You can have 2, 3, or 4 teams, and each team can have 2, 3, or 4 players.
Let’s say we have 7 players. In that case, you have two options:

So, you’re trying to figure out which option to choose, right? Well, let me break it down for you. If you’re new to this game and it’s your first time playing, I suggest going with Option 1. It’s a great way to get started and ease into things. But if you’re more of a competitive person and you like a bit of a challenge, then Option 2 might be the way to go. With Option 2, there are fewer players per team, so it can get pretty intense. It really depends on what you’re looking for and what kind of experience you want to have. So, what’s it gonna be? Option 1 or Option 2?
Setup

- First, each team selects a pawn from the box and places it on the START space on the board.
- Make sure to have the sandtimer, notepad, pencils, and CREDITS handy for when you need them.
- It might be a good idea to have a glass of water for each team, but remember, gargling is at your own risk!
- Place the MONEY MAKER cards on the board, creating one pile by stacking them on top of each other, face-down.
- Important: Please refrain from shuffling the cards.
What happens if I shuffle the cards?
The cards have been carefully coordinated to ensure a fantastic game experience, whether you’re playing with 2, 3, or 4 teams.
However, if they do get mixed up, it’s not a big deal. You can still have a blast! If you ever want to return them to their original order, just refer to the numbering in the bottom right-hand corner of each card.
Hey there! Let me walk you through the rules of this exciting game. Trust me, it’s a lot of fun!
First things first, let’s talk about the order of the cards. To start off, grab Card J from the top of the pile and put it face down. And don’t forget, Card 130 should be at the very bottom.
How to Play
Now, let’s dive into the gameplay. It’s super simple, I promise! Each team takes turns picking up a MONEY MAKER card and following the instructions printed on it. Easy peasy!

As you begin reading these instructions, it’s your team’s turn to take the lead.
One of your teammates will pick up the top MONEY MAKER card and read the challenge out loud, unless it says otherwise.
The MONEY MAKER cards are pretty straightforward – just follow the instructions on the card to complete the challenge.
These cards can have different outcomes, but their main goal is either to move your team around the board or earn individual players some CREDITS.
You don’t need any additional information about the MONEY MAKERS right now – everything you need is right there on the cards.
If you’re ready to dive right in, head to the WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? section in the back of this instruction booklet.

Understanding Money Makers
Some money maker cards make your team move around the board

- When you play the game, you have a challenge.
- Your challenge is to communicate with your team in strange and unique ways.
- For example, you might have to say a line in 5 different accents.
- Your team members have to guess the accents you’re trying to do.
- You have 60 seconds to guess as many accents as possible.
- For each accent guessed correctly, your team moves forward on the board.
- If you guess 3 accents correctly, your team moves forward 3 spaces.
- Some cards can also earn you points.
On some cards, you earn credits by yourself.

- Players earn money in different ways. Each player receives CREDITS, which are worth different amounts of money.
- For instance, a team might have to write a poem in one minute. This activity will earn them money.
- Another team will act as judges and determine how much money should be awarded to the poem-writing team.
Certain cards in the game introduce an element of risk.

When you play this game, you’ll come across cards that will tell your team to move forward or backward on the board, trade players with another team, or complete a secret task without getting caught by another player.
These cards are really simple to use – just do what the instructions on the card say.
What Comes Next?
After the first team finishes their MONEY MAKER card challenge, they put that card at the bottom of the pile.
Then, it’s the next team’s turn, and play continues in a clockwise direction.
Now, a player from that team picks up the next MONEY MAKER card and follows the instructions on the card.
After every team has taken their turn, it’s time for the first team to go again.
Just make sure everyone in your team takes turns reading the MONEY MAKER cards.
Why not mix things up and have everyone take turns being the reader? The MONEY MAKER card challenges usually involve the whole team, but the reader tends to be the one doing most of the work.
By switching roles and allowing each team member to be the reader, we ensure that everyone gets a chance to experience the game in a different way. It adds variety and keeps things fresh.
The Game Comes to an End
Once one of the teams reaches the Red Carpet worth $30 Million, the game is over. The space where your team’s pawn stops will determine how much each member of your team has earned.
If your team’s pawn lands on the $23 Million space, every player on your team will have earned $23 Million. I suggest writing down this amount for each player.
Now it’s time to choose one player to announce all the CREDITS that have been accumulated on the BANK space throughout the game.
Each CREDIT card has a player’s name and an amount written on it. Every player should add up the amounts they have been awarded and add it to their total.
For example, if a player’s team landed on the $20 Million space and the player received 2 CREDITS individually – one worth $3 Million and the other worth $5 Million – the player’s total earnings would be $28 Million.
