Object of the Game

The goal of the game is to be the last player remaining with mice.

Setup

Here’s how you prepare to play:

• If there are 2 players, each player receives 8 mice.
• If there are 3 players, each player receives 6 mice.
• If there are 4 players, each player receives 5 mice.
• If there are 5 players, each player receives 4 mice.

Any remaining mice are placed in Kitty’s bowl, which is then put in the center of the playing area.

In this game, we’ll determine who goes first based on the length of our pinkies. The person with the shortest pinky will start, and then the game will continue in a clockwise direction.

Note: Cats know better than anyone that you can’t “owe” food. So if you only have one mouse left and roll & or & , just give that mouse to the player on your left. If you roll & and you only have one mouse, put it in the bowl.

No Mice, No Dice

If you run out of mice, you can’t roll the dice. But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you’re out of the game. If the player to your right passes you a mouse, you can start rolling again.

Game Over

Guess what? The winner is the very last player who still has some sneaky little mice left, after everyone else has run out of them.

Something Different

If you want to stretch out the fun, we can play for a few more rounds (maybe three or five). Keep track of the number of mice you have left at the end of each round on a piece of paper. The player with the most mice at the end of the last round wins the whole thing!
