The Goal of the Game
Your mission is simple: find three hidden treasures before anyone else to emerge as the victor!
Setting Up
To get started, carefully detach the 13 treasure tiles and 13 treasure tokens from the paper sheets.
Place the 13 treasure tokens into the hollowed-out slots at the bottom of each of the 13 trees, as demonstrated on the paper sheet. Make sure they are securely in place so they won’t move during the game.
Shuffle the trees and position them on the tree icons near the blue spaces on the game board. The locations of the treasures should remain unknown to all the players.
So here’s the deal: when we start the game, we each pick a mover. You put it near the star in the village – that’s the spot where we all begin. Simple enough, right?
Now, the fun part. We mix up the treasure tiles and put them face-down in the castle courtyard. Then, we reveal the top tile and see what treasure awaits us. Exciting!

It’s Your Turn!
The youngest player gets to go first. From there, we’ll take turns going clockwise.
- Start by rolling both dice. Move your game piece forward the number of spaces shown on the dice. Keep in mind that you can’t share a space with another player’s game piece, but you can move past one.
- If your game piece lands on a blue space, take a peek under the tree next to it. What’s hidden there? Make sure to remember what you find, and don’t let the other players catch a glimpse!
If you think you know where the treasure is, here’s what you can do to try and get it. First, be the first player to reach the key space next to the castle. It’s important to be quick! Next, take a sneak peek under the tree you believe contains the treasure. Make sure the other players don’t see! Now, ask yourself, does the treasure hidden under the tree match the treasure shown on the treasure tile at the castle?
If you’re able to find the correct treasure tile after flipping the deck, well done! Show everyone else and put the tree back in its place. Take the corresponding treasure tile as your reward. The next treasure tile in the deck should be turned face-up. Your turn is now finished. On your next turn, you have two options: you can either stay on the key space and attempt to answer the new face-up treasure tile, or you can move away from the castle and continue your search under other trees.
If you’re unable to find the correct treasure tile, you must put it back and inform the other players of your mistake. Unfortunately, as a penalty, you’ll have to move your mover back to the star space in the village, which means your turn ends.
And that’s how the game goes! Keep playing until someone collects all the treasure tiles. At the end of the game, tally up the treasure tiles collected by each player, and the one with the most treasures wins. Enjoy your journey through the Enchanted Forest!
