So, you and I are going to play a really cool game called “Dinosaur Adventure”. It’s a fun and exciting game where we get to choose our own dinosaur and go on an adventure with them. How awesome is that?

How to Play

First things first, we need to pick our dinosaur playing piece. Each of us can choose the dinosaur we like the most. Then, we place our dinosaurs at the Stego-Start-Us. This will be the starting point for our adventure.

Now, here comes the fun part! We’ll take turns rolling the die. The die will determine how many spaces we can move our dinosaurs on the game board. If you roll a high number, your dinosaur can move really far. But if you roll a low number, your dinosaur won’t be able to move as much. It’s all up to chance!

The goal of the game is to reach the finish line with our dinosaurs. We have to keep moving forward and try to avoid any obstacles or challenges that come our way. It’s like going on a real adventure with our dinosaur buddies!

And remember, the most important thing is to have fun. So let’s get started and see who can reach the finish line first. Are you ready?

I’m the one who starts the game by rolling the die and moving my playing piece the appropriate number of squares. We take turns going clockwise.

When I pass a square with a dinosaur, called a Dino-Stop, I can choose which direction to turn. If I land directly on a Dino-Stop, I have to stop and roll the die again. The arrows on the board show me which way to go.

We keep playing by following the instructions printed on the board. Some squares have Dino-Egg-Venture cards, which can either slow down or speed up my dinosaur’s progress.

I continue my turn and follow all the instructions until I can’t move anymore.

Here are the rules for Dino-Stops:

1. If I get redirected to a Dino-Stop and land on it, I have to immediately roll the die again to determine the new direction and distance.

2. If I’m told to “Go Back” or “Turn Around,” I have to turn around and change my direction.

Dino-Greeting: When I encounter another player’s dinosaur on the board, it’s time for a Dino-Greeting! I get to take another turn right away.

Pit-Trap: See that bridge over the Pit Trap? It’s usually a one-way passage and counts as four Dino-Squares. But here’s an exception: when the game tells me to “Turn Around,” I can reverse direction, cross the bridge, and then stop when I reach the Volcanic Rocks.

Dino-Egg Square: Landing on a Dino-Egg Square is special. I don’t have to pick a card if I like where I am on the board. It’s all about risk and reward! But if I land on a Dino-Egg Square that’s already occupied by another dinosaur (which we call a Dino-Greeting), I have to follow the instructions on the Dino-Egg-Venture card and then take an extra turn.

Hey there! Let me tell you about some cool features of this awesome game. So, there’s this thing called a “Bronto-barge,” which is like a special place in the game. It’s like a square that you have to land on if you want to cross Lizard Lake. And guess what? When you cross the lake, you stop at the Landing Square. Pretty neat, huh?

Oh, and there’s also this thing called a “Free Pass.” It’s like a special card that you can use when you land on the Bronto-barge or if you find yourself stuck in the Mud Swamp. And get this, you can even trade these cards with other players if you want. If you’re the one doing the trading, you get five extra Dino-Squares on your next turn. Sweet deal, right?

Now let’s talk about the “Gate Of Rescue.” When you reach the Dinomite Square outside the Gate of Rescue, you have to stop and roll a dice. You need to roll a 1 or 2 to enter the Gate. If you roll any other number, you have to follow the instructions on the board. Just a heads up, if you roll a 3, 4, or 5, you have to go back towards Triceratops or Volcanic Rocks. That’s the way the game goes!
