Food Chain Magnate Milestones
Hey there! Let’s talk about some exciting milestones in the game Food Chain Magnate and how they can help you become a successful restaurant entrepreneur.
First, we have the Marketing Campaign. This is where you get to spread the word about your restaurant. You can run a marketing campaign to increase the demand for a specific type of food. It’s like telling everyone, “Hey, our burgers are the best in town!”
Next up is the Training Program. This is where you can train your employees to be more efficient. Think of it as giving them superpowers! With the training program, they can serve customers faster and make your restaurant more profitable.
Now, let’s talk about the Sous-Chef. This milestone allows you to hire an extra cook to help with the workload. A good chef is crucial for any successful restaurant. With a sous-chef, you can handle more orders and serve your customers even better.
Another milestone is the Discount Manager. This milestone gives you the power to offer discounts to attract more customers. Everyone loves a good deal, right? With the discount manager, you can entice more people to dine at your restaurant and increase your revenue.
And finally, we have the Vintage Manager. This milestone allows you to serve vintage drinks. It’s like offering a taste of the past! With a vintage manager, you can attract customers who appreciate a touch of nostalgia and are willing to pay a premium for it.
These milestones are like stepping stones on your path to restaurant success! Each one brings unique benefits that can give you an edge over your competitors. So, as you build your food empire, keep an eye out for these milestones and make strategic decisions to unlock their full potential.
Remember, in the world of Food Chain Magnate, it’s all about staying one step ahead and making the right moves to become the ultimate food mogul. Good luck on your culinary journey!
If I fulfill the requirements of a milestone card during my turn, I get to claim that milestone card right away. Most milestone cards give me benefits and these benefits apply immediately. The cool thing is that I get to enjoy these benefits for the rest of the game, even if they don’t seem useful at the moment.
But here’s the twist: other players can also claim the same milestone, but they have to do it during the same turn. However, in case there aren’t enough milestone cards to go around, we can make proxy copies to hand out. We don’t want anyone to miss out, after all.
Now, in phase 7 of each turn, all the milestone cards that have been claimed at least once are removed from the game. This means that once a milestone has been claimed by someone, it’s off the table for everyone else.
Milestones play a crucial role in the game, so it’s really important to plan my strategy around them. They can help me gain an edge and elevate my gameplay to the next level.
When I Place My First Billboard
Hey there! So, this milestone is pretty cool. You get it when you put up a billboard campaign on the map.
From here on out, two things happen:
- You don’t have to pay salaries for marketeers anymore (you know, those campaign manager, brand manager, and brand director folks). But remember, you can’t pay those salaries on purpose.
- When you launch a marketing campaign, it stays on the board forever. To show this, put the campaign tile on its eternal side on the board, with a little wooden piece on top. The marketeer card that goes with that campaign is off-limits for the rest of the game. It won’t go back to the stock or the player’s hand. Oh, and this rule goes for the billboard you put up to get this milestone, too.
Being the First to Train Someone
When I train an employee to a higher level, I earn this milestone. It feels great to see my team members grow and develop their skills.
From now on, I get a $15 discount on salary costs for the entire game. This discount helps me save money and manage my finances wisely. However, it’s important to note that salary costs can never be below $0. So even with the discount, I need to ensure that I have enough funds to pay my employees.
Achieving the Goal of Hiring Three People in One Turn
When you hire three or more people in a single turn, you achieve a milestone. This is a noteworthy accomplishment and comes with several benefits.
Firstly, you gain the immediate advantage of receiving two management trainee cards. These cards are placed on the beach and can be utilized right away. If you have available training capacity, you can promptly train these cards, making them valuable members of your team. However, it’s important to note that recruitment takes place before training. In the rare case that there aren’t enough management trainee cards remaining, you will receive whatever is left.
The Introduction of the First Burger/Pizza/Drink
When you run a marketing campaign promoting burgers, pizza, or any type of drink in the game, you earn special milestones. These milestones are like rewards that recognize your achievements.
Once you earn a milestone, your chain becomes known as the “Home of the Original Burger/Pizza/Drink” for the rest of the game. This is a significant title that sets your chain apart from others.
Being the “Home of the Original Burger/Pizza/Drink” comes with its perks. Every time your chain sells a burger, pizza, or drink, it receives a bonus of $5. This bonus is an extra boost of money for your chain and doesn’t impact the regular price of the item.
Let me explain something interesting to you: the presence of gardens in a neighborhood doesn’t affect people’s choices on where to eat. It might surprise you, but that’s the truth. Oh, and by the way, the income generated by these gardens can’t be doubled. Just like any other income, though, it can be increased with the help of a CFO.
Now, when it comes to drinks, the bonus applies to all types of drinks, not just the ones that were originally promoted. That’s definitely a nice perk!
Let’s talk about the first errand boy
One achievement you can earn in this game is called the “errand boy” milestone. It’s given to you when you play the role of an errand boy in your structure. However, please note that this milestone is not awarded for errand boys on the beach.
Once you have this milestone, something special happens. From that point forward, all of your buyers – including errand boys, cart operators, truck drivers, and zeppelin pilots – will receive an extra drink whenever they encounter a source. This means that errand boys will get two identical drinks of any type. Cart operators and zeppelin pilots will collect three drinks for every drink symbol they pass, and truck drivers will receive a whopping four drinks.
It’s important to know that this bonus only applies to the errand boy that you played to earn the milestone.
Now, let’s talk about another milestone called “First to have $20.”
I’m excited to share some important information with you. So, let’s dive right in! This is a really cool milestone – if you have $20 in cash at any time, you’ll earn this achievement. It’s pretty awesome, right?
Now, let’s talk about a little trick you can use. You can actually take a peek at the face-down reserve cards. It’s like having a secret superpower! But there’s a catch – you can’t show them to anyone else, so you’ll have to keep it to yourself. However, you can make noises to confuse the other players. Just be careful not to let them in on your secret!
Oh, and I almost forgot! The first burger or pizza you make is a big deal. It’s like a special moment in the game. So savor that moment and celebrate your accomplishment. It’s definitely something to be proud of!
I hope you found this information helpful. Now go out there and crush it in the game! You got this!
When you make a burger or a pizza, you earn milestones. Each milestone comes with a corresponding card – a burger cook for making burgers and a pizza cook for making pizzas. But there’s a catch – you can only receive these cards during production, so you can’t train the burger cook once you’ve already started making burgers.
If there are no more cook cards available when you earn a milestone, you don’t get anything. The cook you receive will also require a salary during the Payday phase. However, if you don’t want to pay them, you have the option to fire the cook instead.
First waitress played
Imagine this: you’re playing a game, and in this game, you get to be a waitress. How cool is that? Well, let me tell you about a special milestone called “Waitress Extraordinaire” that you can achieve in this game.
So, what’s this milestone all about? It’s pretty simple, really. When you play the role of a waitress in the game, you can earn this milestone. But here’s the catch – it’s not just any old waitress job. This milestone is specifically awarded when you play a waitress in your structure. That means you need to have a team of waitresses working together under your command.
But why would you want to achieve this milestone? Well, let me tell you. Once you unlock the “Waitress Extraordinaire” milestone, something really awesome happens. For the rest of the game, you’ll get $5 for each waitress in your structure instead of the usual $3. That’s a pretty sweet deal, if you ask me.
And what’s even better is that this bonus applies to the waitress you played to get the milestone in the first place. So, you’re already making more money right from the start!
Now, there’s something else I want to talk to you about. It’s about a little competition among the waitresses. You see, there’s a special category for the first waitress who throws away a drink or some food. It’s a sort of friendly rivalry to see who can be the fastest at cleaning up spills or mistakes.
So, if you’re up for the challenge and want to be known as the ultimate waitress, make sure you take part in this milestone. It’s a great way to elevate your waitress skills and have a blast while doing it.
First to throw away drink/food
When you reach this milestone, it means that you have thrown away at least one food or drink token during the Cleanup phase of the game. It’s a significant achievement!
Now, for the rest of the game, this milestone card becomes a freezer for you. You can use it to store up to 10 tokens of food and/or drink during phase 7. These items can be sold in future turns. The best part is that you can keep the items in the freezer for as long as you want. However, there’s a catch – you can only start storing items in the freezer from the next turn onwards. So, in the turn in which you receive this milestone, you can’t put anything in the freezer.
First to lower prices
This milestone is all about being the first to lower prices. It’s a race to the bottom! When you achieve this milestone, it means that you were the first player to reduce your prices. You have successfully captured the attention of bargain hunters. So, get ready to attract more customers and make more sales!
Hey there! I’ve got some exciting news for you. Something really cool happens when you add a pricing manager or a discount manager to your team. It’s called a milestone, and it’s a big deal!
Let me break it down for you. When you bring a pricing manager or a discount manager into your structure, they work their magic and lower your prices. And guess what? This price drop sticks with you for the entire game!
So, how much lower do your prices go? Well, when you have no price-related managers in play, your prices automatically decrease by $1. That means if your original price was $10, it will now be $9. Cool, right? And the best part is, this effect is permanent. There’s no going back!
Oh, and here’s another cool thing. As soon as you add that pricing or discount manager to your team, the price drop takes effect immediately. So, even in the same turn that you lower your prices, you’ll start seeing the benefits right away.
Your First Cart Operator
I just wanted to let you know that once you put your first cart operator into your structure, you’ll achieve this milestone. It’s important to note that this milestone isn’t for cart operators on the beach, but specifically for the ones in your structure.
From that point on, your cart operators, truck drivers, and zeppelin pilots will have an extra range of 1. This boost kicks in right away, so even your first cart operator will automatically have a range of 3.
Now, let’s talk about the first airplane campaign.
Congratulations! You’ve achieved a milestone by initiating an airplane campaign in the game. From now on, there will be a significant change in the order of play. You will now have an additional two open slots to consider. It’s important to note that these slots cannot be utilized for playing managers or other employees. Instead, they serve as a special bonus that affects the order of play.
Let’s talk about the first radio campaign now.
Hey there! I’ve got some exciting news for you. When you reach this milestone, it means you have successfully placed a radio campaign in the game. Awesome!
From now on, whenever you have a radio campaign running in phase 6, something special happens. You get to place 2 goods of the type advertised on each of the houses that your radio reaches. How cool is that? But wait, there’s more. If a house is already full, don’t worry. You can still place 0 or 1 goods, depending on how much more advertising the house can take. You can’t choose to market just 1, though. Your radio will market the same good twice, not two different goods.
Remember, this effect kicks in immediately. So, in phase 6 of the turn when you achieve this milestone, get ready to maximize your marketing powers!
Being the First to Have $100
Hey there! This milestone is super exciting because if you have $100 or more in cash at the end of phase 4, you’ll earn this achievement. How awesome is that?
But wait, there’s more! Your fabulous CEO also gains the ability to take on the role of a CFO. And guess what? This means you’ll receive a 50% cash bonus at the end of phase 4, also known as dinnertime. However, it’s worth noting that you won’t actually receive a CFO card. If, by any chance, you already have a CFO card, don’t worry. You just need to let them go during phase 5 of this turn. And once you’ve achieved this milestone, you won’t be able to train another CFO. Sad, I know, but them’s the rules.
Now, here’s something to keep in mind. This new ability will only come into play starting from the next turn. I mean, it makes sense, right? You can’t have a superpower before phase 4 finishes. That would be unfair to everyone else.
Who’s the first to pay $20 or more in salaries?
If you pay $20 or more in salaries during phase 5, you’ll achieve this milestone. However, only salaries that you actually pay out can be counted. You cannot include salaries that are covered by a discount. Keep in mind that you have to use all available discounts at the beginning of phase 5.
Don’t pay more salaries than you need to. You can hire an employee in phase 2 with a recruiting manager or HR director, which means their salary discounts won’t be available in phase 5.
From now on, you can have multiple employees provide training actions to train the same person. For example, with 2 trainers and a coach, you can train a management trainee to become an executive vice president in one turn.
