Hey there! Have you heard of the Campaign Sheet? It’s a super cool document that we, as players, use during the campaign to keep track of all the awesome stuff that happens in the game and write down important info.

When designing a campaign for an adventure game like Arcadia, you’ll need a tool to keep track of all the exciting events and achievements that unfold during gameplay. That’s where the Arcadia Campaign Journal comes in.

One side of the journal is dedicated to recording the campaign itself. It features a handy map of Arcadia on the left side, with blank spaces for each scenario. This allows you to write down the order in which the scenarios were played, keeping everything organized.

But that’s not all! The other side of the journal offers a more detailed list for each scenario. This is where you can jot down what happened during each gaming session. You can indicate which Guild earned each Achievement, such as the ones who collected the most coins or those whose Heroes survived the most challenges.

The Arcadia Campaign Journal is your essential companion for keeping track of your campaign progress and reliving the thrilling moments of your adventures. With this journal by your side, you’ll never miss a beat!

When you’re playing the campaign of Arcadia, there’s a handy sheet that helps you keep track of your progress. The reverse side of this sheet is specifically designed for tracking the Guilds. It’s where you can note down the Heroes you chose, along with their current Upgrade cards and Death Curses.

After you finish a scenario in the campaign, there’s a step that comes before the Upgrade Phase. This step involves recording what happened in the scenario. For your first scenario, you’ll also need to record the Guilds you created. In this record, you’ll indicate the three Heroes you chose for the campaign.

The record-keeping starts by noting down which scenario you just played. You’ll find a map of Arcadia on the front side of the sheet. On this map, you can mark the scenario you played and assign it a number based on its order in the campaign (1 through 6).

Once you’ve finished playing a scenario in the game, you’ll want to mark down the achievements you and your guildmates have earned. Take a look at the list on the right side of the map. Here, you’ll find all the achievements available. Let’s go through them:

• Winner: This achievement goes to the guild that was the first to complete all the quests required to win the scenario.
• Least Deaths: This achievement goes to the guild that had the fewest death tokens accumulated among its heroes.
• Most Coins: This achievement goes to the guild that earned the most coins during the scenario, before spending them in the Upgrade Phase.
• Won Reward: This achievement goes to the guild that completed a quest with a reward card associated with it, and therefore, won the reward card.
• Won Title: This is when a Guild completes a Quest and acquires a Title.

After the completion of a scenario, if multiple Guilds have tied for an Achievement, they all earn it together.

Once the Upgrade Phase has been completed, players will flip over the Campaign Sheet and update the Guild Inventories.

At this point, each player will record the cards their Guild possesses, using the card codes, as well as any Death Curses carried by their Heroes.

It’s important to note that players should record not only the new cards purchased, but all the cards currently held by their Guild’s Heroes after the Upgrade Phase. If a player has a coin saved for future use in an Upgrade Phase, they should make a note of it on the Campaign Sheet.

Campaign Finale

After completing the thrilling Final Showdown, the 6th and final scenario of the campaign, victory has arrived in Arcadia!

Whoever emerges triumphant in this last scenario will become the ultimate champion, gaining full control over Arcadia and basking in the glory it brings! However, how much control you truly possess over Arcadia will be determined by your actions throughout the entire campaign.

Each Guild in the campaign will receive a distinct Medal for every Achievement they fulfill according to the Campaign Sheet. Add up the Achievements accumulated throughout the campaign and determine which Guild has achieved the most in each category.

Winning an Achievement awards a Guild with the corresponding Medal. If multiple Guilds tie for the most wins, they all receive the Medal. The number of Medals a Guild earns determines its prestige in the retaken city.

The winning Guild in the Final Showdown is determined by the number of Medals it acquires:

0-1 Medals – Hollow Victory

2-3 Medals – Decisive Victory

4-5 Medals – Ultimate Victory

Optional: Episodic Mode

Arcadia Quest is designed as a campaign game. You start with the scenarios in the Outer Circle and progress to the heart of the city for the Final Showdown. Your achievements in one scenario affect the next, and your group of heroes grows stronger over time.

If you and your friends are just looking to have some fun without any serious consequences, you can try playing in Episodic Mode. In this mode, you can simply gather your heroes and play a scenario, without worrying too much about the bigger picture.

In Episodic Mode, you and your friends can start your own guilds, choose your heroes and upgrade cards, and embark on thrilling adventures together. It’s a way for you to create your own stories and explore exciting scenarios. Let me guide you through the steps:

First, you need to create your guild. This is the group of heroes that you will control throughout your adventures. Choose your heroes wisely, as each one has their own unique abilities and skills.

Once your guild is formed, it’s time to choose the level of your adventure. You can select any level you want, from easy to challenging. The choice is yours, so consider the abilities of your heroes and what kind of challenge you’re looking for.

Next, you’ll need to deal upgrade cards. These cards will enhance your heroes’ abilities and give them an edge in battle. Distribute the cards among your heroes strategically, based on their individual strengths and weaknesses.

Now it’s time to play a scenario. You can choose a scenario from the Campaign Book, or if you’re feeling creative, you can even come up with your own. The scenario will present you with challenges and quests that you and your guild must overcome to succeed.

After completing the scenario, it’s time to determine the winner. There are a few factors to consider. First, each player loses 1 coin for each Death Token in their guild. So be careful not to lose too many heroes in battle. On the other hand, the guild that finishes the scenario by completing three quests will receive a bonus of 5 coins. Keep this in mind as you strategize and plan your actions.

Finally, it’s time to tally up the coins. Each guild adds up all the coins they have earned throughout the adventure. The guild with the largest amount of coins is declared the winner. So make sure you make wise decisions and collect as many coins as possible.
