I can only place these tokens on my player board if I activate the Explorer’s effect. That’s the only way to unlock this hidden potential. So, whenever I complete a contract, I have to make sure I take advantage of the Explorer’s effect.
Otys Additional Rules
I want to talk to you about some additional rules that are important to keep in mind when it comes to using Otys.
First, let’s talk about the HTML markup. You need to make sure that all the tags are correctly closed and that your code is valid and functional. This is crucial for your website to work properly and display correctly on different devices.
Next, I want to discuss the importance of simplicity. When it comes to writing content for your website, it’s important to use simple, accessible language that your audience can understand. This will make your content easier to read and engage with, especially for those with a lower reading level.
Another important rule to follow is to vary your sentence lengths and structures. This helps to create a more engaging reading experience for your audience. By mixing shorter and longer sentences, you can keep your readers interested and avoid monotony in your writing.
Additionally, it’s important to maintain a conversational tone in your writing. This means using contractions, like “I’ll” instead of “I will,” to make your writing sound more like a conversation with your readers. It helps to establish a personal and direct connection with your audience.
Lastly, stay true to your voice. It’s important to infuse your writing with your own unique style and personality. This will make your content stand out and create a memorable experience for your readers.
By following these additional rules, you can ensure that your content is engaging, accessible, and true to your voice. And if you like what you see here, then I’m sure you’ll love using Otys for your website. It’s a powerful tool that helps you create beautiful websites with ease. So why wait? Give Otys a try today and see the difference it can make!
When it comes to Sponsor Tiles, there’s a nifty little feature you should know about – they’re double-sided. The first side, which we call Basic, is perfect for your early gaming adventures. But once you’ve got the hang of things, it’s time to flip to the other side, known as Advanced, for an extra challenge. To mix things up, simply decide randomly which side to use for each Sponsor tile when you set up.
But here’s a little sidenote: the choice of Sponsor tiles can have a big impact on the game. So, before you dive in, take a moment to get familiar with the unique effect of each tile. It’ll be worth it, trust me!
Let’s talk Sponsor #1
I’m here to tell you about an intriguing feature I came across. It’s called the Basic Side and the Advanced Side. Let me break it down for you.
On the Basic Side, you get a nice little bonus of gaining 1 Credit. It’s a simple and straightforward way to boost your resources.
Now, let’s talk about the Advanced Side. This is where things get interesting. With the Advanced Side, you don’t have to spend any Credits to use the effect of your Trader, Spy, Engineer, or Explorer for one turn. It’s like a free pass to activate these abilities without breaking the bank.
But here’s something to keep in mind. If you use your Spy to activate an opponent’s diver, you still don’t spend any Credits to use your Spy. However, you’ll need to spend Credits to activate the opponent’s diver effect. It’s a small caveat, but an important one.
So, whether you choose the Basic Side for a little extra Credit or the Advanced Side for some cost-saving shenanigans, these sides offer exciting options to enhance your gameplay. Give them a try and see how they can elevate your strategy.
- Basic Side: You get to use your diver’s effect two times on this turn. You can choose the same effect twice or different effects each time.
- Advanced Side: Choose one of the two Reward tokens on the same level of the Colony Display, and use its effect. Then, discard that token and draw a new one from the bag to replace it. If the bag is empty, put all discarded tokens back in before drawing the new one.
Note: You can use your diver’s effect once, complete a contract, and then use your diver’s effect a second time.
Sponsor #3
I’ve got something exciting for you! Let’s dive in and explore some key actions and benefits you can experience in this amazing game. Keep in mind that these options will help you strategize and progress to victory.
On the basic side, I can return either a Key token or an X Key Token from my Hacker track to my player board. I’ll flip it and place it on the corresponding space. If there’s a gap, I’ll shift the other Key tokens to the left to fill it up. This move gives me an advantage in my quest.
Now, on the advanced side, things get even more interesting. I can resurface my diver on level 5. This means I can move them to the topmost level of my player board by shifting the other Diver tiles down. This move opens up new possibilities and expands my options.
Exciting, right? This is just a taste of what awaits you in the game. Get ready to make strategic moves and take advantage of these benefits. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive in and have a blast!
- Here’s the deal: You can spend 2 Credits to flip the activated Diver tile and get 1 Prestige point.
- But wait: You can also spend 2 Credits to upgrade one of the three Diver tiles on the surface levels and get 1 Prestige point.
Sponsor #5
Hey there! Let’s chat about a cool game mechanic called Battery Tokens. They may sound a little mysterious at first, but don’t worry – I’m here to help you understand what they’re all about.
So, when you play this game, you’ve got two sides to choose from: the Basic Side and the Advanced Side. Let’s take a closer look at each.
- Basic Side: You’ll gain 1 Battery Token. Simple as that!
- Advanced Side: Now things get even more interesting. On this side, you’ll also gain 1 Battery Token. But, here’s the cool part – you can choose to spend 1 Battery Token to move a resource. What’s a resource, you ask? Well, it’s something valuable in the game – like points or special items. And you can move it around between different levels of the game. For example, you can take a resource from the level where the activated diver is and move it to any other level. And guess what? You can do the reverse too – move a resource from any other level to the activated diver’s level. It’s like magic!
See? Battery Tokens can really spice up your gameplay. They give you that extra boost and let you make some strategic moves. So, when you’re playing, keep an eye out for those Battery Tokens – they can really make a difference!
Diver Tiles: Upgrade Your Skills!
Hey there! Let me tell you about an exciting game called Diver Tiles. In this game, you start with one basic skill for each diver. But guess what? You can make them even better!
During the game, you have the opportunity to upgrade your divers’ equipment. How? Well, simply by flipping your Diver tiles to their Upgraded side!
Check this out:
- When you use the effect of the amazing Sponsor tile #4 to flip a diver to its Upgraded side, you gain 1 Prestige point! Isn’t that cool?
- But wait, there’s more! The Basic side of each Diver tile also shows the bonus of the Upgraded side. Look for the icon in the bottom-right corner to see it. What a double win!
Hey there! Let me tell you about these four cool divers. Each one specializes in finding a different type of resource: metal (blue), plant (green), fuel (black), or tech (white).
Basic Side
When you activate a diver, you can take 1 resource that matches their color from the supply and put it on a resource space that matches their level. You see, each level can only hold a certain number of resources.
But wait, if all the spaces are full, you have to clear some out before you can add resources to that level. One way to do that is by selling a resource to the store using the Trader.
Upgraded Side
Now, let’s talk about what happens when you upgrade your divers. As well as fetching resources, upgraded Experts come with extra bonuses:
- The Metal Expert lets you grab 1 special X Key token.
- The Plant Expert allows you to earn 1 Credit.
- The Fuel Expert allows you to claim 1 Battery token.
The Tech Expert is a special ability that I have in the game. It lets me choose whether to return a Key token or an X Key token from my Hacker track back to my player board. However, I can only return a token of my color, not a neutral one. This ability gives me flexibility and strategic options in the game.
Remember: I don’t have to use this ability if I don’t want to. Taking a resource or gaining a bonus is always optional. It’s up to me to decide what will benefit me the most in the game.

Hey there! So, you know how the Trader works, right? It’s this cool thing that lets you do stuff with the Store.
Here’s the basics:
When you activate the Trader, you have two options: sell a resource to the Store or buy a resource from the Store. Simple, right? Now, whether you’re selling or buying, you gotta check out the Store to see how much the resource is gonna cost you.
If you’re selling a resource, you take one of the resources available on the Trader’s current level. Then, you put that resource on the Store in the top free spot of the column that matches its color.
If there’s no empty spot in that column, sorry, but you can’t sell your resource. But hey, no worries! You’ll still get either some Credits or Prestige Points. The number of Credits is on the left side, and the number of Prestige Points is on the right. You get the same number of points as the row where you just placed your resource.
Note: Only the top row of the Store lets you earn Prestige points.
When you buy a resource, take 1 resource from the Store and put it on an available resource space at the current Trader’s level. Then, pay the cost of the resource with Credits.
The cost of the resource is the number displayed next to the row from which it was taken. You can only use Credits to purchase a resource. If there are no resources in the Store or no available resource spaces at that level, you cannot buy a resource.
Upgraded Side
The upgraded Trader allows you to:
- get 1 extra Credit or 1 extra Prestige point every time you sell a resource.
- reduce the cost of buying a resource by 1 Credit.
Note: When you activate the Trader, you have a choice to gain 1 additional Credit point or 1 additional Prestige point. However, you can only choose one of them, not both. This is an important decision to make. Once you make this choice, all rows of the Store will offer you the opportunity to gain Prestige points.

Hey there! Did you know that the Spy is such a cool ability? Let me tell you all about it!
\
\
The Basics
\
\
When you activate the Spy, you have two options. First, you can draw Contract cards. Just spend 1 Credit and draw 4 cards. Then, you can add 1 of those cards to your hand and put the other 3 back at the bottom of the deck face-down.
\
\
The second option is to activate a diver that belongs to one of your opponents who are directly on your left or right. To do this, you spend 1 Credit and use the effect of the diver that’s on the same level as your Spy on your opponent’s player board. It’s like having that diver on your own board!
\
\
But be careful, you can’t use your opponent’s Spy to activate a diver that belongs to an opponent who isn’t directly on your left or right. Makes sense, right?
Note: When you activate the Spy, only the Spy resurfaces, not your opponent’s diver. However, if the activated diver is a Trader, Spy, Engineer, or Explorer, you still have to spend Credits when necessary.
Designer’s Variant: In this advanced variant, if you want to activate your opponent’s diver, you give your opponent 1 Credit instead of spending 1 Credit.
The activated diver resurfaces when your Spy does, unless your opponent decides to spend 1 Battery token.
Upgraded Side
You no longer have to spend 1 Credit to use the Spy’s effect.

Hey there! Ever wanted to enhance the skills of your trusty Technicians? Well, with the Engineer, you can do just that!
Let’s Start with the Basics
Once you activate the Engineer, all it takes is 1 Credit to upgrade either your Mechanic or your Hacker:
If you decide to upgrade your Mechanic, simply move the Mechanic tile down by one notch. You’ll notice an icon next to the tile indicating the maximum distance your diver can move when using the propeller. At the beginning of the game, your divers can only move one space.
On the other hand, if you choose to upgrade your Hacker, slide the Hacker tile one space to the left. The further to the left you move it, the faster your Key tokens will come back to your player board at the end of your turn.
Keep in Mind:
- You can upgrade each of your Technicians up to three times.
If you’re playing the game and want to move the Hacker tile, here’s what you need to do. First, check if moving the Hacker tile will cause it to overlap with a Key token. If it does, don’t worry! Just push the Key tokens to the left to make space for the Hacker tile. Once you’ve made room, you can continue with the rest of your turn. Remember to return all your Key tokens at the end of your turn, as explained in Step 3.
Now, let’s talk about the Upgraded Side. You’ll be glad to know that you no longer have to spend 1 Credit to use the Engineer’s effect. This means you can enjoy the benefits of the Engineer without having to pay a penny. It’s a great upgrade that will make your gameplay experience even better. So go ahead and make the most of it!

Hey there! This cool robot lets you earn Reward tokens by exploring the Colony Display.
Get Started
Simply activate the robot and spend 2 Credits to grab one of the two Reward tokens from the same level on the Colony Display.
Once you’ve taken a token, use its special power (shown on the front) right away. Then, flip the robot and place it on your player board, on the same level as your Explorer.
Now, whenever you complete a contract at that level, you can use the permanent power of the Reward token.
Just a heads up:
- If there’s already a Reward token on the space you want to put yours, just replace it. The old token goes bye-bye!
When you grab a Reward token from the Colony Display, another token will be drawn from the bag to take its place right away. This ensures that there are always two Reward tokens available on each level of the Colony Display.
On the upgraded side, you only need to spend 1 Credit to activate the Explorer’s effect.
Now let’s talk about the Reward Tokens. The Immediate Effects on the front can be accessed either through the Explorer’s effect or Sponsor tile #2 (advanced side).
Keep in mind that the background color on the front side indicates the permanent effect on the back: orange for 2 Credits or green for 1 Prestige point.
#image.jpg
When I activate my Key token, I get to choose one resource from the two options available and place it on an empty resource space of the same level as my token.
#image.jpg
When you complete this task, you will receive 1 Battery token.
#image.jpg
When you play this card, you get to do something pretty cool. First, draw four Contract cards. Then, pick one of those cards and add it to your hand. Finally, take the other three cards and put them facedown at the bottom of the deck. It’s like you’re getting a bonus card and putting some fresh ones back in the deck for later.

Hey there! Let me tell you about a cool move you can make in the game. So, you know those Diver tiles, right? Well, you can actually flip one of them to its Upgraded side – pretty neat, huh? The best part is, you don’t even have to worry about gaining 1 Prestige point when you do it. Cool, right?
Now, let me break it down a bit more for you. Picture this: you’re in the game, and you come across a Diver tile. You think to yourself, “Hey, I want to upgrade this tile!” Well, guess what? You totally can! Just flip that tile to its Upgraded side, no problem. And here’s the kicker – you don’t have to worry about gaining a Prestige point when you do it. It’s like getting an upgrade without any strings attached. How awesome is that?
#image.jpg
When I gain 1 Prestige point, it’s like a little victory for me. It’s a small but meaningful accomplishment. And you know what’s even better? The effects of this achievement are permanent. It’s not just a one-time thing – I can keep using these effects every time I complete a contract at the same level as this token. How awesome is that?
