Buildings can have a big impact on the game. When you lose a building, you have to give back the City Area card that goes with it.

The Dragon Strikes

When I roll the die, it decides which part of the board will feel the wrath of the mighty dragon.

Any minions, trouble markers, and buildings in the affected area will be completely wiped out.

Deluge of Water

Hey there! Let’s spice things up a bit and roll the dice twice to find out which areas will be hit by a flood. If the areas rolled are next to the river, consider them flooded.

Now, it’s time to take some action! Starting with the active player, each one of us needs to move our minions from the flooded areas to nearby ones.

But wait, hold on! You can’t move your minions to another flooded area. However, you can still move them to an area next to the river. Don’t worry, the buildings, trolls, and demons will stay where they are – they’re invincible to the flood!

Oh, and let’s not forget about the fire!

When you play this game, you start by rolling a die to determine where the fire will spread. If the area you roll doesn’t have a building, nothing happens. But if there is a building, you remove it from the game board and roll the die again.

If the next area you roll is next to the previous area and there is another building there, you remove that building too. The fire keeps spreading!

You keep rolling the die and removing buildings until you roll an area that either doesn’t have a building or isn’t next to the last area you rolled.

Fog

When I play the Fog card, I draw five cards from the draw pile and immediately discard them. Don’t forget to show everyone which cards have been discarded!

The Chaos of Riots

When there are eight or more trouble markers scattered across the board, chaos reigns supreme, and the game comes to an abrupt end. It’s a moment that leaves everyone wondering who will emerge victorious.

Now, it’s time to calculate points and determine the true winner. Keep in mind, though, that being Commander Vimes doesn’t guarantee victory just yet. Although they may have a chance to seize victory based on points alone.

Boom!

Ready for some demolition? Roll the dice and watch the buildings crumble!

Here’s how it works. Take a look at the number you rolled on the die. Then, find all the buildings in that same area, and remove them from the scene. They won’t know what hit them!

Imagine the chaos and excitement that ensues as you witness the destruction unfold before your eyes. It’s like being in the middle of a blockbuster action movie, except you’re the one calling the shots.

But wait, there’s more! The beauty of this game lies in its simplicity. Anyone can play, regardless of age or experience. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out; the thrill of the explosion never gets old.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab the dice, feel the adrenaline rush, and get ready to bring down those buildings. The power is in your hands. Now, let’s make things go boom!

A Curious Case of Murders

Imagine you have a special die, and something strange happens whenever you roll it. Let me tell you about it.

When you roll the die, you get to choose one of your team members to remove from a particular area. Then, it’s time for the player on your left to roll and do the same. This process repeats until everyone has rolled the die once. But here’s the twist: if you’re the only one with team members in a certain area, you still have to remove one of them.

Mysterious Demons from Another World

Let’s play a game by rolling the die four times. Each time you roll, place a demon minion piece in an area that matches the number rolled. It’s possible for more than one demon to end up in the same area.

If there isn’t already a trouble marker in the area where a demon is placed, go ahead and place one. This applies even if there are no other minions in the area. While there are one or more demons in an area, the power on the City Area card cannot be used, and any building in that area has a value of zero.

The area that has a demon cannot be controlled by any player, and it doesn’t count as an occupied area for Vetinari. If, at the end of the game, an area still has one or more demons in it, no one scores any points for the minions or buildings in that area.

Just like minions, demons can be moved or removed from the board using the same methods.

What is Subsidence?

Hey there! I want to tell you about something called subsidence – it might sound like a big word, but it’s actually a pretty simple concept. You see, subsidence happens when the ground beneath us sinks down a bit. It can be caused by all sorts of things, like mining, earthquakes, or even just the natural shifting of the earth.

Now, here’s the important part: when subsidence occurs, it can have some consequences for structures on the surface, like buildings. That’s why, in our game, we’ve made it so that all players have to pay $2 for each building they have on the board. It’s like a little insurance policy to protect against any potential damage caused by subsidence.

But what happens if you can’t pay for a building? Well, unfortunately, it’s gotta go. If you find yourself in that situation, you’ll have to say goodbye to your building and remove it from the board.

So, remember, subsidence is when the ground sinks down, and in our game, it’s something you’ll need to keep in mind when managing your buildings. If you don’t pay up, you might just see your structures disappear!

The Curious Case of Bloody Stupid Johnson

Roll the dice. If the City Area Card with the corresponding number is currently in play, then I’ll set it aside, rendering its power useless.

Oh, and by the way, if you happen to be the cardholder, you’ll have to remove one of your minions from the very same area as the card. Just a little mischievous act, you might say.

But here’s the thing: although the card loses its functionality, that peculiar building still counts when it comes to determining control of the area. Not to mention, it still holds its value and will contribute to your precious stash of coins at the end of our little game.

Trolls: An Unpredictable Twist

Ready to embrace the chaos? Let’s add some trolls to the game! Roll the die three times and scatter those pesky creatures across the board. Each number on the die tells you where to place a troll. Don’t worry if more than one troll ends up in the same area. Those troublemakers love company!

Unlike minions, trolls aren’t part of any player’s team. They’re like free agents wreaking havoc on everyone’s control. Treat them as if they belong to “another player” – it just adds to the confusion! You can deal with trolls the same way you handle minions: move them around or remove them from the board entirely.

Shaking Things Up: Earthquakes

Hey there! Imagine this: you roll a die twice and zap! Suddenly, buildings in certain areas disappear. It’s like an invisible force is at work. That’s what happens during an earthquake – it shakes things up!
