Building a launch sequence is no easy task. Each launch sequence consists of five cards, and there are four sets of launch sequences in each deck. That means you’ll have a total of twenty cards to work with!

Once you’ve completed a launch sequence, you scoop it up and continue playing. The goal is to be the first player to empty their tableau. It’s a race against time!

Welcome to the Game!

Alrighty folks, we’re all set up and ready to go! Each of you will get your very own deck with a total of twenty cards. Make sure to give it a good shuffle to mix things up. Once you’re done, it’s time to create your tableau – that’s a fancy word for your playing area.

Here’s what you do: deal yourself five piles of cards. Yep, five separate ones. The first pile contains two cards, with one facing down and one facing up. The next pile also has two cards, both facing down except for the top one which is face up. Got it? Great! Keep going with the next piles, each one adding an extra facedown card. So, the third pile has three facedown cards and one face up, the fourth has four facedown cards and one face up, and finally, the fifth pile has a whopping five facedown cards and one face up.

Now that your tableau is all set, it’s time to dive into the game. Get ready for a wild adventure filled with strategy, surprises, and a whole lot of fun!

THE PLAY

Okay, here’s how the game works. We all start together. No waiting for turns, because that’s no fun!

Now, only the cards on top of our little card piles can be played. If we see a five, we have to play it right away. Can’t hold on to it!

When we play a card from our pile, we flip the next one over so we can keep going. We play one card at a time, putting them in the middle, starting with the biggest set and going down.

We know which set a card belongs to by looking at its border color and the shape in the corner. That’s how we keep everything organized.

So, here’s the deal. Let me break it down for you. If someone places the Circle 5 card in the middle of the table, the next player has to top it off with a Circle 4 card. Now, pay attention because this is where things get exciting. Whoever plays the Circle 1 card on that pile gets to clear it out. And let me tell you, you better make some noise when you do it. Yell out, “Space Dash!” as loud as you can. And if you want to add some spaceship noises, go ahead – they’re totally welcome!

Now, during the game, you can manage your tableau. It’s pretty easy, really. Just move the top cards one by one to different piles. But here’s the catch – when you’re building your tableau, you have to place the cards in order, from lowest to highest. Oh, and one more thing: you can’t put two cards from the same set on top of each other. Got it? Good.

If you manage to clear a pile in your tableau, you can take a card from another pile and use it to start a new one. It’s all about keeping the game going and staying one step ahead of your opponents. So, have fun and may the best space explorer win!
