Welcome to The Game of Life Electronic Banking Edition! Now, instead of dealing with messy paper money, we can handle our finances with the help of modern technology. This version of the game uses an electronic banking unit to handle all financial transactions.

Setting Up the Game:
To begin, choose a banker. The banker is responsible for overseeing the electronic banking unit and handling all transactions. The banker should distribute a Life Tile to each player at the start of the game.
Gameplay:
On your turn, you will spin the wheel and move your car along the game board. The board is divided into spaces that represent different life events and financial opportunities.
When you reach a space, you must follow the instructions on that space. Some spaces offer choices, while others require you to take action or make a decision. The game will prompt you to input this information using the electronic banking unit.
The electronic banking unit keeps track of your money and properties. It will automatically deduct or add money to your account based on the spaces you land on and the actions you take. No more counting and handling paper money!
Life Tiles:
Throughout the game, you will have the opportunity to collect Life Tiles. Life Tiles represent different achievements and possessions. They can have both positive and negative effects on your financial situation.
When you collect a Life Tile, you must insert it into the electronic banking unit. The unit will either reward you with money or deduct money from your account based on the tile you receive.
Retirement:
The ultimate goal of The Game of Life is to reach retirement with the most money. When a player reaches the retirement space, they must stop and calculate the total value of their money and any remaining Life Tiles. The player with the highest value wins the game!
End of the Game:
Once all players have reached retirement, the game comes to an end. The player with the highest total value is declared the winner. Congratulations!
Additional Rules and Tips:
– If you land on a space that allows you to purchase a property, the electronic banking unit will guide you through the process. Simply follow the prompts and purchase the property if you have enough money.

Choose College
If you decide to go to college, you’ll have a better chance of getting a great job in the future. But keep in mind, college comes with a cost. You’ll need to pay $200,000 in tuition fees right now. Don’t worry! Just insert your card and type in the amount. Don’t forget to press the button with the picture of the card and then the one with the dollar sign.
Once you’re in college, it’s time to hit the books! Study hard, graduate, and then you can decide on your dream career. You got this! 
Choose Career
If you’re eager to start working right away, then choosing a career is the way to go. No need to wait for graduation!
- Reach for the top! Take two Career cards from the deck and pick your favorite. Place it face up in front of you so everyone can see your choice. Put the other card back at the bottom of the deck.
Setting Your Salary
Here’s how you can set your salary on the banking unit:
- Insert your card into the unit.
- Key in the salary amount for your chosen career. Don’t forget to press the
button. - Hold down the
button for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep.
Remember, this process only sets your salary; it doesn’t actually pay you.

Playing the Game
Get your car from the beginning to the end and have a ton of fun along the way. The person with the most money at the end is the winner!
- As you dive into the game, you’ll encounter three distinct spaces. Here’s an overview of what they do:
Stop! Spaces
These spaces are like red traffic lights. When you land on one, your progress slams to a halt. But fear not! They can also bring marvelous surprises. They are a curious mix of falling into a pothole and finding a shiny coin. They keep things interesting as they momentarily disrupt your journey, and you never know what you’ll find when you arrive at one of them.
Action! Spaces
These spaces are like high-fives with fireworks. When you stumble upon one, you’re in for a burst of excitement. They are the chaotic energy that electrifies the game board. They can open secret paths, unveil shortcuts, and send you soaring ahead. With each interaction, they introduce a thrill of anticipation. You never know how they’ll enhance your next move, which keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The black board spaces are called Action spaces. When I land on one of these spaces, I get to take an Action card. The card tells me what to do, and I keep it because it’s worth money at the end of the game!
Now let’s talk about Payday Spaces
If I pass over or land on a Payday space during my turn, I need to insert my card into the unit and press the button once. When I do that, my salary will be automatically added to my account.
In this game, the youngest player gets to go first. So, if it’s my turn and I’m the youngest one playing, I get to start!
To move around the game board, I need to spin the spinner. The number it lands on tells me how many spaces I should move forward. It’s as simple as that!

Now, get ready to start a game with a press of any key or by inserting a card into the unit. As soon as you enter a card, you’ll see the card number and your current balance displayed on the screen. Remember, the unit will go to sleep if there’s no activity for 30 seconds. Just insert another card or press any key to wake it up again.
When you play this game, you need to be cautious about going into debt. It’s easy to overspend, and if you do, you’ll end up owing money. And, let me tell you, that can be a problem. You see, every time you borrow money in the game, 10% of that debt will be taken out of your next PAYDAY payment. It’s like a penalty for spending more than you have. So, keep a close eye on your finances and make sure you don’t take on too much debt! Trust me, it’s not worth it.
Paying Another Player

(Even if you already own one) Take the top two House cards from the deck. Pick your favorite and subtract the cost from your card. Put the other card back in the deck.
