Hey there! So, here’s the deal: when we land on an ALL PLAY square, everyone’s gotta participate. But don’t worry, it’s gonna be fun!

We start by rolling the die to see which side of the card we’ll use. Exciting, isn’t it?

Next, we grab a card and place it face-up on the game board. This is where the real action starts!

Now, pay attention: on ALL PLAY squares, we don’t use the timer. Instead, the first player to reach the required number of responses screams “STOP!” and we all have to finish our answers.

Got it? Good. The team whose player yelled “STOP!” gets to count and move first. Then, we keep going clockwise, scoring points until every team has had their turn. Towards the end, the order of scores becomes super important.

After an ALL PLAY round, when scoring is done, we just continue playing as usual, taking turns in a nice, orderly clockwise fashion.

Go Back

When playing the game, be careful not to land on a square that points backwards. If you accidentally do, you have to go back to the square you came from right away.

If you came from an ALL PLAY square, both teams will have another chance to participate in the ALL PLAY on your next turn.

Twice the Points

When I land on a square with a, I have a chance to double my points. For example, if my partner and I match three words on an orange square, we can move forward six spaces on the board.

Just keep in mind that I can only write as many words as the number shown on my square.

If I have a pawn on a space when my team is participating in another team’s ALL PLAY, our team will earn double points.

No Cheating

Any team can disqualify another team’s turn if their written responses clearly have nothing to do with the card or if it’s obvious that they discussed a strategy.

Odd-Number-of-Players Rule

• If there’s an odd number of people playing, we can have a team of three players. Each turn or ALL PLAY, two people will participate while one person sits out, and we’ll rotate as we go.
• One player can be on two teams by acting as a partner for two other players.

Scoring & Advancing
