Chez geek game rules – how to play chez geek

By: Dennis B. B. Taylor

Welcome to CHEZ GEEK!

CHEZ GEEK is a cool and social game that lets you invite your friends to hang out at your place. The goal? Well, it’s pretty simple – be the first player to reach your personal Slack Goal, which you can find on your Job Card. Ready to kick back and have some fun? Let’s get started!

Getting Set Up

First things first, let’s sort the cards into two piles: the Life Pile and the Job Pile. Make sure you have enough space in front of you to create your own cozy “room” – this is where you’ll be playing your cards and inviting people over.

Your Job Card will give you all the info you need about your income, free time, goal, and the perks and disadvantages of your chosen career. The Life Cards will make up the rest of the deck.

So here’s how the game goes: The dealer will shuffle the Job Cards and give one to each player, so everyone can see. Then, they will shuffle the Life Cards and deal five to each player, face-down. Now, we’re ready to start!

Let the Game Begin!

The player on the left of the dealer goes first. We’ll go clockwise from there. On your turn, you’ll do five things. First, draw enough cards from the Life Pile to have six cards in your hand. But if you have a job that needs seven cards, then you’ll draw until you have seven. Just remember, you should never have more cards than you need.

So, here’s what happens next: I roll the die at the start of my turn. Depending on the outcome, I might earn some money, get some free time, or even lose a player from my group. After rolling, I can call people. I tell the others what I want to do, play a card, and if the player doesn’t object, I can proceed. But if they do object, we roll the die again to determine the outcome. If I roll a 1 or 2, the player card is discarded. But if I roll a 3 to 6, the player card stays.

Now, during the roll phase, I can also try to get rid of people in my room. Anyone except for cats can be removed if I roll a 4 to 6. But if I roll a 1 to 3, I have to keep them and deal with the consequences.

During the Free Time phase, I can choose to either spend my free time or gain more of it. I can use this free time for activities or go shopping. After going through the other phases, I need to get rid of some cards from my hand until I only have five left. This signals the end of my turn.

END OF GAME

The game will be over once I reach the Slack Goal specified on my Job Card! As soon as I reach this goal, I will be declared the winner.

The game ends when I reach the Slack Goal stated on my Job Card! This achievement means I win the game.
