HEDBANZ

Hey there! Have you ever played the awesome game called HEDBANZ? It’s a super fun game where you get to guess what object is on the picture card attached to your headband. And the best part? You get to ask all sorts of random questions to help you figure it out!

Ready to Play?

First things first, we need to set up the game. We start by separating the picture cards from the sample question cards. Once that’s done, we shuffle the picture cards and place them face down in the middle of the play area.

Let’s get everything ready for the game. I’ll place the badges and sample question cards in the middle of the table, within easy reach for everyone.

Now, it’s time for us to put on our headbands. Make sure it fits snugly on your head, positioning the Hedbanz logo right between your eyebrows.

Each of us will receive a picture card, facedown. This is the card we’ll start with.

Take your card, but don’t peek at it just yet. Slide it into the clip on your headband, with the picture side showing. If you prefer, you can help the person next to you put their card in the clip, so our cards won’t get damaged.

Ready to Play

The youngest player will go first. Let’s start the fun!

When it’s my turn, I flip over the timer and start asking you questions. Remember, each question can only be answered with a “yes” or a “no.” The goal is to figure out what’s on your card. We can use the sample question cards to help us out.

Imagine this: You’re playing a game where you have to guess what or who you are based on a picture. Sounds fun, right? Well, that’s exactly what the game “Guess Who?” is all about.

Here’s how it works: Each player is given a picture card that they keep secret. Then, they take turns asking questions to the other players in order to narrow down what their picture might be. For example, they might ask, “Am I an animal?” or “Am I used in the home?”

If a player correctly guesses their picture before the timer runs out, they earn a badge for their headband and can pick up another picture card to start the process again.

Let’s say you’re dealt a card with a squirrel picture. Your first question might be, “Am I an animal?” If you get a “yes” response, you know you’re on the right track. From there, you could ask questions like, “Do I live on land?” or “Am I big or small?” or “Do I have fur?”

Have you ever played a game where you ask questions to figure out what picture is on your friend’s band? It’s a fun challenge that requires you to think carefully and use all the information you gather from the other players. The goal is to connect the dots and come up with a logical conclusion.

Don’t even think about lying to the person trying to guess. We’re all about honesty here.

If, unfortunately, the time runs out and you couldn’t guess the object, keep that picture on your headband and pass the turn to the player on your left. When it’s your next turn, you can continue asking questions about that same card you haven’t figured out yet.

If you feel like you’re not making any progress in guessing the object after several attempts, don’t worry! You can change the card on your next turn, and we’ll keep playing.

SCORING

Every time you win a badge and attach it to your headband, you earn a point. The goal is to be the first player to collect three badges and get three points. So keep winning those badges and attaching them to your headband!

END OF GAME

The game doesn’t have a set number of rounds. Instead, it continues until someone collects three badges, which they wear on their headbands to earn three points and win the game.
