Hey there! Let’s take a moment to get to know the Combo cards before we start playing. Each card has some special features we should check out:

When you play this game, you’ll encounter different challenges and terms. Let me break them down for you:
– Players: This tells you how many people can participate in a card’s challenge. If it says 1, it means it’s a challenge for you alone. If it says 2, you’ll need an opponent to go up against. And if it says A, it means everyone can join in on the fun.
– Chips: The number of chips you’ll earn if you successfully complete a combo. The higher the number, the tougher the challenge. Sometimes, you can earn an unlimited amount of chips.
– Dice: This tells you how many dice you’ll get to roll in a combo challenge. If you’re playing with two people or more, each player will get this number of dice.
– Combo: This is the name of the challenge you need to complete. Look at the illustrations and any text provided to understand what you need to do.
Now that you know the basics, you’re ready to dive into the game. Have fun and good luck!
In the game of Combo, the number of rolls you get to complete a combo in a turn is determined by the number of fingers indicated on the hand. If the hand shows three fingers, you have up to three rolls. However, if the hand is holding a “U”, you have unlimited rolls!
During the game, you have the option to put aside dice you want to keep after each roll. If the sphere is green, you can choose to do this. However, if it’s red, you must use all the dice on each roll. And if the sphere is black, the option doesn’t apply to that card.
So, what’s the objective of the game?
The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards by successfully rolling all of your dealt combos.
But how do you set up the game?
To set up the game, first separate the Chip Chart cards from the deck and give one to each player. If there are any extra Chip Chart cards, put them back in the box. Each player should keep their Chip Chart face up in front of them as a reference.
Next, shuffle the Combo cards and deal them face down to each player according to the game rules.

- If there are 2-3 players – each player gets 5 cards
- If there are 4 players – each player gets 4 cards
Take a look at your cards, but don’t let your opponents see them.
Put the rest of the cards face down in the middle of the playing area as a draw pile. As the game goes on, you’ll also create a discard pile.
Choose someone to be the Chipmaster. The Chipmaster gives out chips when players earn them, and collects them when players redeem them. To start, the Chipmaster gives each player one chip.
Playing the Game
Each player rolls one die, and the person who gets the highest roll goes first.
On your turn, pick a card from your hand and try to complete the combo. Show the card to the other players and let them know if they’re involved too.
Now, roll the dice!

If you pull off the combo just right, toss the card onto the table with its front showing. That’s when you can scoop up the number of chips displayed in the center of the card, my friend.
Once you’ve grabbed a bunch of chips, you can trade them in for another move. If you can’t make a successful play, the turn goes to the person on your left. Keep the action flowing!

If you don’t complete the combo, you can decide to just take back the card and end your turn (it’s then the next player’s turn), or you can exchange chips and take an extra action.
Keep the card if chips don’t help you win the challenge.
Notes
- If you can’t complete a combo after two or more different tries, you have the choice to get rid of the card and draw a new one from the pile. But this counts as a turn.
- If you play a 2-Player or an All Play card but someone else beats the challenge, you have to keep the card. You can only get rid of the card if you’re the one who beats the challenge.
- If multiple players beat a 2-Player or All Play challenge, all winners get the chips on the card.
Cashing Chips
Hey there! When it’s my turn, I have the option to use my chips to either help me out or give my opponents a hard time. Here are the different actions I can take:
| Extra Roll | 1 chip | I can take an extra roll during my turn. This is really handy when I’m close to completing a combo. And the best part is, I can keep rolling as long as I have chips to pay! |
| Extra Turn | 3 chips | For 3 chips, I can take another turn. I can try to beat the same Combo card or start with a new card from my hand. It’s like having a second chance to make a big move! |
| Pickup | 5 chips | If I want to mess with my opponents, I can force one of them to pick up a card from the draw pile. It’s a great way to throw a curveball their way! |
| Trade Swap | 5 chips | With 5 chips, I can swap one of my cards with one card from any opponent. It’s a surprise exchange, so I won’t know what I’m getting. Talk about a gamble! |
| Trash Swap | 7 chips | For 7 chips, I can swap one card from my hand with any card from the discard pile. It’s like giving my hand a makeover, trading out old cards for potentially better ones. |
| Discard a Card | 9 chips | If I want to get rid of a card that’s not doing me any favors, I can spend 9 chips to put it in the discard pile. Out of sight, out of mind! |
Winning the Game
To win the game, I simply need to be the first one to get rid of all my cards. It’s as simple as that!
If I want to play a longer game, all I have to do is deal more cards to each player at the beginning. That way, it will take longer for someone to get rid of all their cards and declare victory.
