You see, your tower is considered “collapsed” if, at any time and for any reason, a piece other than your foundation touches the table. Yeah, it’s a bummer, I know. But when that happens, you’re out of the game, my friend. All your pieces go back into the supply, and your tokens go back to the bank. Don’t fret, though – if your tower collapses before you’ve even chosen a piece to build or push, you can grab those shiny new pieces right away!
But here’s the really interesting part – a tower collapse can cause a chain reaction. If your falling pieces hit someone else’s tower and cause it to collapse, they’re out too! It’s like a domino effect, but with tower building instead.
Now, let’s talk about how the game is played!
So, we start with the youngest player, and the game continues in a clockwise direction. When it’s your turn, you have two options to choose from: you can either Build or Push. Make your choice, resolve it, and then it’s the next player’s turn. Simple, right?

Alright, time to choose a piece! Take a good look at the stack and pick one that catches your eye. Remember, you can inspect it closely, but you can’t touch your tower or anyone else’s tower with it.
Now that you’ve got your piece, it’s time to place your bid. You can start with zero if you want, or you can set a higher bid. The bidding goes in a clockwise direction, so the next player will have a chance to bid. They can either pass or set a higher bid, up to the number of tokens they have left.
If a player passes, they can’t bid on that piece anymore. The highest bidder will pay their bid amount to the bank and then place the piece. If it’s their first piece, it becomes their foundation.
If it’s your turn and someone outbids you for a piece, don’t worry! You have a couple of options. You can either choose another piece to build with, or you can choose to push (we’ll explain that in a bit).
Push
Here’s what you do: choose a piece from the pile. Check it out, but don’t touch your tower or anyone else’s. Pass the piece to the next player. They can either take it and put it down right away or pay 1 token to pass it to the next player.
The next player can choose to take the piece or pay tokens to pass it. Each time it gets passed, the cost to pass it goes up by 1 token. So, the second player has to pay 2 tokens to pass it, the third player has to pay 3 tokens, and so on.
End of the Game
The winner is the player whose tower lasts the longest, even if it only holds up for a little while. If all the pieces have been successfully placed and there’s more than one player left, then the game is a draw.
