Game Objective
I want to score points by getting the ball into your opponent’s goal while avoiding obstacles and traps on the game board.
Components
To play KLASK, you’ll need a game board with a wooden frame and a playing surface that has magnets. You’ll also need two players to control magnetic pawns from below the board using a magnetic handle. Don’t forget the small white ball, it’s the game’s ball! Watch out for obstacles and traps, you’ll have to avoid them!
Gameplay
Let’s start the game! We’ll place the ball in the center of the board. You and your opponent will stand on opposite sides, each with your own goal. Use the magnetic handle to control your pawn and try to hit the ball into your opponent’s goal. But be careful! Don’t bring the magnetic handle too close to the magnets on the board, or your pawn might stick to the board. If that happens, your opponent earns a point!
Earning Points
There are three ways to earn points:
- Score a goal in your opponent’s goal (1 point)
- Stick your opponent’s pawn to the board (1 point)
- Collect three penalty discs (1 point)
Ending the Game
The game will end when one player reaches six points. If you reach six points, you win!

When you’re ready to play KLASK, here’s what you need to do:
1. Find a table where you can comfortably place the KLASK board between you and your opponent.
2. Take three white magnets and place them on the white fields in the middle of the board.
Remember: Make sure the magnets are facing upwards, so they stay in place and don’t move away from the striker.
3. Take the scoring disc and insert them in the starting position marked with “0” on the scoring slot.
4. Each player has a black magnetic striker with two sections. Put the striker section on the top of the board and the thick steering magnet under the board. Make sure the two sections are touching and making contact.
5. To start the game, the youngest player picks a starting corner and places the ball there.
Let’s Play Klask
Ready to have some fun? In Klask, your goal is to shoot the orange ball into your opponent’s goal while avoiding losing control of your striker or falling into your own goal. It’s all about scoring points and outsmarting your opponent!
But it’s not just about shooting the ball. You can also use the orange ball to move the white magnets around. Be careful though, if two of the white magnets stick to your striker, your opponent will score a point!
To win the game, the first player to reach 6 points is declared the winner. Are you up for the challenge?
How to Play
Let’s get started! In Klask, players use the steering magnets under the game board to move their strikers and hit the orange ball around the field. The best part? There’s no specific order or turns, so you can move freely at all times!
Now, let’s talk about scoring points. There are 4 ways to earn points:
- Shoot the orange ball into your opponent’s goal.
- Make your opponent lose control of their striker or fall into their own goal.
- Stick two of the white magnets to your opponent’s striker.

So, what happens if you manage to kick the ball into your opponent’s goal and it stays there? Well, you score a goal! It’s a moment of victory, a triumph of skill and teamwork. You feel a rush of excitement as the crowd erupts in cheers. But what does it really mean to score a goal? Let’s dive into the significance of this simple act in the game of soccer.
When I score a goal, it’s not just about the points on the scoreboard. It’s a statement. It says, “I am here, I am present, and I am ready to win.” It’s a powerful moment that can change the flow of the game, shifting the momentum in my team’s favor.
Scoring a goal is an accomplishment. It’s the culmination of strategy, skill, and countless hours of practice. I feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that all my hard work has paid off. But it’s not just about me. It’s about my team. When I score a goal, it’s a testament to our collective effort and the trust we have in each other. We celebrate together, a unified force, stronger than ever.
But scoring a goal goes beyond the game itself. It’s a source of inspiration. When I see a player on my team score, it sparks something inside of me. It ignites a fire, a desire to push harder, to strive for greatness. It reminds me of what is possible, of the endless potential that lies within each of us.
Scoring a goal is a moment of connection. It brings people together, whether they are players, coaches, or fans. It creates a sense of camaraderie, a shared experience that transcends differences. It unites us, if only for a moment, in our love for the game.
So, the next time you see a goal being scored, remember the significance behind it. It’s not just a ball crossing a line. It’s a symbol of determination, teamwork, and the power of the human spirit. It’s a reminder that anything is possible when we set our minds to it. So, let’s lace up our boots, hit the field, and create some magic. Because when that ball ends up in the opponent’s goal and stays there, it’s more than just a goal. It’s a moment that will be remembered forever.
If two (or all three) white magnetic pieces stick to your opponent’s striker, you score points. It’s pretty cool because you get to collect points when you play the game. But there’s a catch – your opponent can do the same thing to you! So you have to be careful and strategize your moves. It’s like a fun puzzle, trying to figure out the best way to win. Imagine the excitement when you see those white pieces sticking to your opponent’s striker – it’s like a little victory! And if you think this sounds interesting, then you’ll definitely love playing magnetic striker. It’s a game that challenges your skills and keeps you on your toes. So go ahead, give it a try and see how many points you can score. Good luck!
If your opponent accidentally pulls their striker into their own goal (KLASK), you immediately score a point. Even if your opponent manages to jump out of the goal using the steering magnet, once you hear +KLASK, it’s a point for you!
Each time you score a point:
- You move your scoring disc forward one point in the scoring slot.
- You return all three white magnets to their original positions at the center of the board.
- The player who didn’t score gets to “kick off” from the corner of their choice.
Remember:
You can only score one point at a time. So, even if you shoot the ball into your opponent’s goal while they fall into their own goal and attract two white magnets, you still only get one point.
Additional Rules:
- If one of the white magnets sticks to the striker, we keep playing. But if two or more white magnets stick to one striker, the opponent scores a point.
- Don’t try to move the white magnets on the board by using your steering magnet underneath.
- If a white magnet ends up falling off the board, the game still goes on.
- In the event that the ball falls off the edge of the board, just put it back on the nearest starting corner and keep playing.
