It’s a Wonderful World Solo Rules
Hey there! Let’s dive into the solo rules for the amazing game, “It’s a Wonderful World.” You’re in for a treat, my friend!
Now, when you’re playing solo, things can get a little tricky. But don’t worry, I’m here to guide you through it all. It might seem a bit overwhelming at first, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, you’ll be soaring through this game like a pro.
Ok, let’s get into the nitty-gritty. First, take into account that you’ll need to set up the game just like you would for a regular multiplayer game. So make sure you have all the necessary components handy. Double-checking is always a good idea, right?
Once you’re all set up, it’s time to dive into the gameplay. Remember, the goal here is to maximize your resources and score as many victory points as possible. And you’re on your own this time, so every decision you make will have a direct impact on your success.
You’ll begin by drawing your solo starting hand. This hand will consist of a mix of resource and project cards. These cards will be your lifeline throughout the game, so choose wisely. Take a moment to assess your options and strategize your next move.
Next, it’s time to draft your projects. You’ll be presented with a series of project cards, and it’s up to you to choose which ones to keep and which ones to discard. Remember, each project card will have different requirements and benefits. It’s all about finding the perfect fit for your strategy.
Now that you’ve chosen your projects, it’s time to start the production phase. This is where things get exciting! You’ll be producing resources, constructing buildings, and completing projects. Each completed project will give you victory points, so keep an eye out for those golden opportunities.
During the production phase, you’ll also have the opportunity to trade resources. This can be a game-changer, as it can help you balance your resources and maximize your production. So keep an eye out for those lucrative trades.
As the game progresses, you’ll also have to face off against the AI opponent. They’ll be playing their own hand and constructing their own projects. It’s important to watch their moves closely, as they can influence your decisions and strategies. Don’t let them outsmart you!
Now, let’s talk about the endgame. Once you’ve completed all the production phases, it’s time to tally up your victory points. This will determine your final score and, ultimately, your success in the game. So make sure you’ve played your cards right!
Phew, we made it! Congratulations on mastering the solo rules for “It’s a Wonderful World.” Now it’s time to jump into the game and put your skills to the test. Remember, practice makes perfect, so keep playing and refining your strategies. Have fun, and happy gaming!

If you’re playing solo mode (a 1-player game), there are some adjustments you need to make. Let me walk you through the changes:

Getting Started
First, let’s set up the game. Take the Development cards and mix them up. Then, make 8 smaller decks with 5 cards each. These smaller decks are called Development Pools. Next, create a deck with the remaining Development cards.
Draft Phase
Hey there! Since it’s just you playing, you can skip this part and move right on to the Planning phase.
Planning Phase
Alright, let’s get started with the Planning phase. Each time it’s your turn, you’ll play two Sequences. By the end of the game, you’ll have played a total of eight Sequences!
During each Sequence, you get a random 5-card Development Pool. Take a look at these cards and you have a few options:
- If you don’t like any of the cards you got, you can discard two of them and then draw five new cards from the deck. You get to keep one of these new cards and put the other four in the discard pile. You can keep doing this as much as you want, even if you just got a new card. It’s a great way to see more cards and find the ones that match your strategy.
- If you like some of the cards, you can place them in your Construction area.
- If you’re not interested in using certain cards, you can recycle them to collect their Recycling Bonuses. Pretty cool, right?
When you’re ready to start your second round of the game, simply collect another set of cards from your second Pool. It’s important to make sure you’ve used or recycled all the cards from your first Pool before moving on.
Once you’ve completed both rounds, it’s time to enter the Production phase. Since you’re playing alone, there’s a special rule called the Supremacy rule that applies to you. In order to receive the Supremacy Bonus for a Resource, you must have produced at least 5 of that Resource during this round.
Other than that, no other rules have changed. Everything else remains the same.
The End of the Game
Now it’s time to see how you performed. Compare your score to the chart below:
60- Rooky
60+ Dictator
80+ Emperor
100+ Living God
Solo Scenarios
If you enjoy playing the game solo, we also have some additional scenarios for you to try out. These scenarios will add new challenges and twists to the game, making it even more exciting and engaging.
Hey there! Let me tell you about this cool mode called Solo-Mode. It’s a way to explore all the different strategies in the game. You’ll need to build up all the cards to win. After that, you can compare your score to the required values and see if you’ve earned a bronze, silver, or gold medal!
So, what are you waiting for? Jump in and play by the Solo-Mode rules. Have a blast!

Those fools! Those ungrateful traitors! They’ve ruined everything, despite everything I’ve done for them. But you know what? I’m not giving up. I’ve conquered the Earth, the sky, and even space. And yet, there’s still a whole world right here, under my feet!
