The Worst-Case Scenario

Hey there! Welcome to the Worst-Case Scenario game, inspired by the popular book series of the same name. We’ve all had those days when everything seems to go wrong, right? Well, now you can put those terrible experiences to good use! This game will test your decision-making skills as you try to navigate through everyday life scenarios.

And the best part? You can play this game virtually anywhere! There are so many versions available that you can take it with you wherever you go.

Getting Started

Now, let’s talk about how to set up the game. First, place the game board right in the middle of your playing area. Then, gather up your friends and split into teams of two. You can choose who you want to be on your team – after all, it’s all about having fun!

Once you’ve formed your teams, each team should pick a game piece and put it on the Start space on the game board.

Hey there! Let’s get this game started, shall we? Make sure all teams can see the question cards’ instructions. Place the playing cards in the middle, where everyone can reach them. Ready? Let’s go!

How to Play

Okay, so the team with the youngest player gets to kick things off. On their turn, one player will roll the die, but hold on, they won’t move their game piece just yet. The team to their right gets to pick a Survival Question Card from the box and read the question to the group.

Each question comes with multiple choice answers. The first team needs to try and get the right answer in order to move their game piece the same number of spaces as the number rolled on the die. Got it? Good!

If the first team can’t answer the question correctly, they can’t move their game piece. Instead, the other team gets to move their game piece the same number of spaces as the number shown on the die.

The gameplay continues to the left.

END OF GAME

The game ends when a team reaches the Finish space on the game board. Teams don’t have to roll exactly the right amount to reach the Finish space. The other teams are then placed on the board based on how far they got.
