By: Dennis B. B. Taylor

Welcome to Trivillennial!

Hey there! If you’re a millennial like me, you’re gonna love this game! Trivillennial is all about the things that matter to us and the world we live in. It’s perfect for those of us who can’t live without social media!

Do you think you know all the important moments, controversies, and people that have shaped our generation? Well, Trivillennial is here to put your knowledge to the test and see if you’re really in the know!

Getting Started

So, here’s what you need to do to set up the game. Take the cards from the deck and separate them into different stacks based on their colors. Each stack represents a category, and you’ll be picking questions from these categories as you play. Oh, and don’t forget, each player gets their own A, B, C, and D answer cards!

Oh, by the way, the person reading these instructions gets to be the Quizmaster first. Ready? Let’s dive in and start the game!

GAMEPLAY

When we start the game, I choose a category and randomly draw a card from that stack. The categories I can choose from are 15 Seconds of Fame, Trends, Random Shit, Controversy, Sports, Technology, Music, Food, Entertainment, and Politics. Then, I read the question on the card out loud to all of you, along with the four possible answers.

Now, it’s your turn! You answer the question by placing your answer card face down in front of you. Remember to choose either A, B, C, or D. Once you’ve placed your card, I reveal the correct answer, which is found on the bottom of the card, out loud to everyone.

Now comes the exciting part! We all flip our chosen answer cards at the same time. If you chose the right answer, you get one point. Keep track of your points because the first player to reach ten points wins the game!

I want to share with you how the game works and what happens when a player reaches ten points. Let’s dive in!

First, let me explain how the Quizmaster is determined. The player on the left side of the group becomes the Quizmaster. This role will rotate as the game progresses, giving everyone a chance to take charge.

Now, let’s talk about earning points. Each player will have the opportunity to answer questions and earn points. The game continues in this manner until someone reaches ten points.

The End of the Game

When a player reaches ten points, the game comes to a close. It’s a moment of celebration and victory for that player!

Remember, the path to winning is filled with challenging questions and strategic gameplay. Keep your wits about you and aim for those ten points!
