Travelers Solitaire: A Game of Luck

Hey there! Have you ever tried playing Travelers Solitaire? It’s a really cool card game that’s all about luck. The goal is simple: you need to get all the cards into their right piles before the fourth King shows up. Sounds exciting, right?

Let’s Talk About the Cards and the Setup

First things first, this game is played with a regular deck of fifty-two cards. Remember, the Aces are low and the Kings are high in this game.

Now, let’s deal out the cards. Shuffle the deck and then deal out thirteen piles, each containing four cards. You can arrange the piles however you want, depending on your playing space. Make sure to assign a card rank to each pile, starting from low (Ace) and moving towards the highest (King). If you’ve got enough space, dealing out one row of thirteen piles works best.

So, once the cards are dealt, we can start playing.

Let’s Get Playing!

We start by flipping the top card from the first pile. This card is then moved to the pile that matches its rank. For example, if you turn over a 7, that card goes face up at the bottom of the 7 pile. Then, you flip the top card of the 7 pile and move it to the appropriate pile.

We keep going, moving the cards to their correct piles, until all of them are in their proper place or until the fourth King shows up.

Victory is Ours!

You win once all of the cards have made their way to their correct piles. However, if the fourth and final King appears before that happens, it’s game over. Don’t worry, though—you can simply shuffle the cards and give it another go!
