TILE UP

Welcome to Tile Up, an exciting puzzle game that requires strategic thinking to maximize your score. In this game, the goal is to keep your cards hidden behind your screen and collect as many points as possible without getting blocked by other players!

Block your opponents from scoring by guessing what cards they are after. If you believe you’re the winner, try to cover all four corners of the board and bring the game to a speedy conclusion, giving you the opportunity to emerge victorious!

SETTING UP

Let’s get started with the setup. First, gather all the numbered tiles and place them in a bag. Give it a good shake to mix them up. Now, position the gameboard and goal cards in the middle of the playing area. Lastly, prepare a scoresheet by writing down the names of all the players at the top.

Alright, here’s what you need to do to get started. First, pick two goal cards and place them face up near the game board. You’ll also need a screen for each player, so make sure everyone sets theirs up in front of them. Now, draw five tiles from the bag and put one on each of the green areas in the middle of the board. Only use tiles that have the numbers three, four, or five. If you have any other tiles, just throw them back in the bag.

After that, each player should take three tiles from the bag and also grab one goal card. Keep these behind your screen, so no one else can see them. Now, let’s announce the sum of your tiles. The player with the highest number will go first.

Let’s Get Playing!

When it’s my turn, I get to do three things. First, I can draw a goal card and keep it hidden behind my screen. Alternatively, I can pick three tiles from the bag and put them behind my screen. Lastly, I can choose to place my tiles on the board. Once I’ve done my action, the player on my left will take their turn, and the game will keep going around the group in a clockwise direction.

If I decide to place my tiles on the board, I can put down as many tiles as I’d like. But there’s a rule – the tiles have to be placed next to another tile that’s already on the board. If I have tiles that are different colors, I can stack them on top of each other. The catch is that the number on the top tile has to be lower than the number on the tile it’s stacking on.

Hey there! So here’s the deal: the objective is to strategically place tiles in a way that they create a shape that matches one of the two goal cards. That’s how you earn points. But wait, there’s more! You can also play tiles just to use them and block other players.

Now, everyone can try to make the shapes shown on the two goal cards. But here’s the twist: each player has their own secret goal cards hidden behind their screens. Keep an eye on those too! Oh, and by the way, once a goal card is scored, it gets replaced with a new one.

When it’s your turn, you can score as many goal cards as you want. Just remember, you can only score them during your turn, not at any other time. And guess what? If you can match one of your hidden goal cards with one of the face-up goal cards, you hit the jackpot! So keep an eye out for those opportunities. Once all the corners of the board are covered with tiles, the game ends!

The Game’s Over!

When playing the game, you win by covering all four corners with your tiles. The player who has the highest number of points at the end is the winner!

Here are some games that I recommend:

1. Tic Tac Toe

2. Connect Four

3. Scrabble

I hope you find these games enjoyable! Good luck!
