Get Ready for SUPERFIGHT!

Hey there! Get ready for an exciting and lively game called SUPERFIGHT! It’s a game where you can have loads of fun with your family and friends while arguing with each other. All you have to do is mix character cards with superpower cards to create the ultimate winning combination. Then, it’s time to convince everyone why your combination is the absolute best. If the group agrees with you, you win the match! The player with the most wins at the end takes home the game trophy!

If you want to spice things up, you can always add expansion packs to your game. These packs allow more players to join in, extend the game time, and give you a wider selection of exciting characters to choose from. So, if you love making arguments and coming up with clever strategies, then SUPERFIGHT is the game for you!

Time to Set It Up!

Setting up SUPERFIGHT is quick and easy. Here’s what you need to do:

  • 160 White Cards: These are the character cards. They have names like “Sasquach”, “Cheetah”, “Obama”, or “Viking”.
  • 340 Black Cards: These are cards that represent weaknesses or powers for your character. Examples include “Breathes Fire”, “6 Inches Tall”, “Afraid of Clouds”, and “Horrible Self Esteem”.

Playing Superfight

Start by shuffling the decks and placing them in the middle of the group. The first and second players will each draw three white cards and three black cards, keeping them hidden from the others. From their cards, each player selects one white card and one black card, placing them face down in front of them. The remaining cards are discarded into a discard pile.

So here’s what happens: me and this other person, we each pick a card and show everyone our fighters! Then we grab one more card and add it to our fighters. And guess what? We have to convince everyone why our fighter would totally win the match. And get this: the rest of the group gets to vote on who they think would win! Yep, that’s how we decide who gets the point.

The person who gets the most votes gets the point and moves on to fight the next person. And get this: the next player gets to pick not one, not two, but three white cards and three black cards! They pick one of each to keep and then lay their fighter down. Oh, and to make things more exciting, they even get to draw another black card to make their fighter even stronger!

So, imagine this: you and some friends are sitting around a table, each armed with a deck of cards featuring various characters, powers, and abilities. Excitement fills the air as you prepare for an epic battle of wits and imagination. The game begins.

Two cards are chosen at random, and their respective characters are pitted against each other. Each person must now make a case for why their character would come out on top. It’s a game of persuasion and debate. Everyone takes turns, passionately arguing their points, until a decision is reached. The winner advances, and the process repeats. The intensity builds as the game continues, until a champion emerges.

The game-ending

How will you know when it’s time to end the game? It’s up to you and your group. You can either set a predetermined limit, or keep playing until there are no more cards left. Once the game concludes, the player with the most victories becomes the ultimate Superfight champion. Victory is sweet!

Superfight variations

If you’re looking to spice things up, there are several variations of Superfight you can try:

Useless Superpowers

If you wanna have a blast and create some incredibly absurd characters instead of going for the toughest ones, then this version of the game is perfect for you. Instead of debating which superhero would come out on top in a fight, you’ll be arguing over who has the most pointless superpowers. Each player gets to construct their very own ridiculous and useless superhero, and then they go head-to-head against another player. These two players will then explain why their hero is the most absurd. The rest of the players will listen and vote on which hero they think takes the cake, and the player with the most votes wins the round.

CLASH OF THE VILLAINS

In this unique game mode, instead of the usual hero vs. hero battles, one player takes on the role of the villain and goes up against the rest of the players at the table. It’s an exciting twist that adds a whole new level of strategy and excitement to the game.

Here’s how it works: at the start of each round, the “least liked player” becomes the villain. The villain chooses one white card and one black card from their hand, and then adds a random black card from the deck. These cards represent the powers and abilities of the villain.

Now it’s up to the other players to build their own superheroes and try to defeat the villain. Each player takes turns selecting white cards and black cards to create their hero, carefully choosing the ones that will give them the best chance of defeating the villain.

Once all the heroes are built, including the villain’s, it’s time to distribute the black “weakness” cards. Each player gives one weakness card to another player at the table. This adds another layer of strategy as players try to determine who they think has the best chance of defeating the villain.

Finally, the villain decides which player’s hero they think is most likely to defeat their character. If the villain chooses correctly, that player wins the round and becomes the new villain for the next round. The game continues in this way, with each player taking turns as the villain, until all rounds have been played.

SUPERFIGHT EXPANSION PACKS

One of the coolest things about Superfight is that it’s a game that never gets old! Right now, there are 19 expansions for the game that you can mix in with the original 500-card deck.
