Welcome to Strawberry Sunset!
Hey there! I’m so excited to tell you about this cool game called Strawberry Sunset. It’s all about growing your very own strawberry garden and having a blast in just a few minutes! Let me tell you how it works.
In Strawberry Sunset, you get to use special cards to create your garden. It’s like getting to paint a beautiful picture, but with strawberries! You can place the cards wherever you want in your garden, so get creative!
Now, pay close attention to the player guide cards. They’ll give you hints on which creations will earn you the most points. And you know what? The player with the most points at the end of the game wins! So, use your artistic skills to build the perfect garden and take home the victory!
Getting Started
The setup for Strawberry Sunset is super simple. First, split the deck into three sections: sunrise, noon, and sunset. Mix up each deck really well by shuffling them. Then, stack the decks in this order: sunset at the bottom, noon in the middle, and sunrise on top. Finally, deal one card to each player, and you’re ready to go!
GAMEPLAY
So, let’s get started with the game! First things first, we need to choose the first player. And how do we do that, you ask? Well, it’s as simple as this – the player who most recently ate a strawberry gets to be the first player. Easy, right?
Now, here’s how the game works. During your turn, you have a couple of options. You can either draw two cards from the deck or just one card from the compost pile. It’s up to you! Once you have your cards, you can play one of them and discard the other into the compost pile. It’s all about making the best move.
But wait, there’s more! When you play a card, you need to make sure it’s placed on top of another card, covering at least a quarter of it. And here’s the cool part – you get to create your own garden as the game goes on. How awesome is that?
Now, here’s the catch – the game ends when there are no more cards to draw from. So, make sure you plan your moves wisely and keep an eye on those cards.
When the game is over, we need to calculate our points. Just follow the instructions in the player guide to see how many points each design is worth. The player who has the most points, and the most intricate garden, is the winner!
GAME OVER
The game is over when there are no more cards left in the deck. The player with the most points is declared the winner!
